Back in the 1930’s, Al Capone, Frank Nitti, and others had more honor than this bastard and his ilk. At least the 1930 era gangsters were up front and honest about who and what they were.

Not really. In fact the two mobsters you named taught Alinsky the principles he would later employ in his "community organizing" model.
