I’m guessing that this is another tragic instance of black on black crime. I’m also guessing that this will not dominate the news cycle for a month or two.

Blacks appear to be restless. There are shootings and mobbings where blacks are involved one way or the other occurring all over the country.

This report says the son was the only witness to the murder, but in the video this article linked to the reporter spoke to the father’s best friend who was there in the garage with him when the shooting happened. Maybe he was at an angle so he didn’t see the shooter?

Family and friends staged a candlelight vigil late Friday for a California dad who died after he used his body to shield his son from gunfire.
If a man has to die young, there's no worthier or more heroic way to do it. Sympathies for this brave man's family.
