Looks like you are talking to me. If I thought for one minute that FReepers were racist , I wouldn't still be on this site for about 8 years now. I merely stated my opinion that I agree with another poster's thought. And something similar on another thread. And i stand by my words. I never once implied in any way that i thought FReepers condoned people driving around shooting people just because they were black. Never said it , never thought it. Don't put words in my mouth. And if you think I was being righteous by stating my opinion, I'm sorry for you feeling that way. Just wondering if you think it was righteous of you for stating your opinion about mine? I don't. Opine away.
But I will still feel that possible revenge as a motive by anyone committing a crime on anyone that had nothing to do with the original motive is unacceptable and is no defense. If someone down the street from me shot some guy's father, I sure as hell wouldn't think it was mitigating in any matter for that aggrieved person to shoot ME or my other neighbors whom had nothing to do with it. And THAT is all I was saying. But you sure as hell have the right to discover and comment on the fact that revenge was somehow a motive. Have at it. And Happy Easter to you.
