15 shot, 2 dead, overnight across city

A 13-year-old boy and 41-year-old woman were killed by gunfire Saturday night, and 13 others were wounded across the city, police said.

The 13-year-old was among three teens shot on the 4600 block of South Spaulding Avenue just before 10 p.m., police said.

He was shot in the head and body and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The other two -- a 15-year-old boy shot in the forearm and thigh and a 16-year-old boy shot in the arm -- were taken to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, police said.

All three of the victims lived on the block where they were shot, police said.

Police said none of the three self-identified or were known to police as gang members and only the 16-year-old had been arrested - in 2007, when he was 11.

One of the 13-year-old's older relatives affiliates with a gang that has been feuding with two others for months, police said, and was down the block at the time of the shooting.

Less than three hours later, two people were shot on the 3800 block of South Sacramento Avenue.

The two men, 23 and 32, identified with a different gang than the relative of the 13-year-old but one of the victims in that shooting lived on the same block where the three teens were shot, police said.

The pair was driving down an alley behind the 3800 block of South Sacramento Avenue when someone in a nearby minivan shot them, police said.

In Tulsa 3 were shot and 2 others killed over a couple of days and it made national news. Here in Chicago those numbers don’t even cover a single day of black on black killing.

If all the Chicago blacks keep it up, Obama wont have any more sons left.

Just assuming the perps were black. The story didnt say,(that was my first hint), but my European white-ness “told” me.

Maybe the difference is that Oklahoma has very good conceal and carry laws-—and in my opinion, that alone cuts down on the murder rate. The entire state of Oklahoma probably has fewer murders in a year than Chicago can have on a “good” day.

"Never heard of that song...."

You have to be of a certain age to remember it (sniffle).

This sort of violent action is going to escalate as the weather improves. Time to watch your back if you live in a large with with a large black population.

Wonder if it goes down in Chicago like it does in New Orleans?

A bunch get shot up, the *Reverends* demand police action.
The police take action.
The *Reverends* then demand an investigation of the police for taking action.
Another bunch get shot up.
The *Reverends* demand police action.
Etc. Etc.
Etc. Etc.

Thanks for the contribution to the CH Crime thread. If freepers have collected that many dots to be connected just think what the FBI could collect with wire tapes, computer tech etc.

Are you serious? The President and AG Holder have other ideas about what to collect and from whom!

True. But, expect there are hidden files with material all over the place just waiting for the right time.
