The smartest president in history?
Philadelphia Inquirer ^ | April 8, 2012 | by George Parry

Posted on 04/08/2012 5:40:42 AM PDT by Oldeconomybuyer

Despite 40 years of practicing law, I am no expert when it comes to arguing appeals. But I do know enough not to gratuitously insult and try to humiliate the appellate judges who will decide my client's case.

Apparently they don't teach those fundamentals at Harvard Law School. How else to explain the absolutely boneheaded attempts by President Obama, a past president of the Harvard Law Review, to intimidate the U.S. Supreme Court as it decides the constitutional fate of Obamacare?

And he did this when anyone who could see past his next meal knew that Obamacare, which was being shoved through the Congress, would ultimately wind up before that very same court.

As we used to say in the Organized Crime Strike Force, "That's smart, Freddo, really smart."

How could a president of the United States of America, of all people, not know something so basic about our system of government? Where has he been all these years? Kenya?

How can the so-called smartest president in history be so out of touch with human nature, common sense, and reality as to think that he can intimidate a coordinate branch of government - composed of judges with life tenure - by advancing such a baseless and preposterous argument as the one that he trumpeted to the media?

Now that the president has made a complete fool of himself in public, is it too much to ask that the mainstream media, at long last, begin to question and investigate his much-vaunted credentials as our Genius-in-Chief?

“My worry is that Kagan has already told Obama that he won the first vote and he’s grandstanding to make it look like he won by scaring the court”

Doubt it, it would probably just as likely piss Kennedy off enough to change that 5th vote.

Lincoln was the smartest President in history. He knew what he knew, and he knew what he didn’t know, and sought answers. Unfortunately Nixon and Klink are also in the top 10. Obama is not. Maybe the top 50 lol...

IQ of 180? That is a blatant lie. One could subtract 100 points from that score and be in Obama’s IQ range + or - 5 points. The man demonstrates the math and reasoning skills of a 4th grader.

"My worry is that Kagan has already told Obama that he won the first vote and he’s grandstanding to make it look like he won by scaring the court."

Why? If it went his way it went narrowly, why p.o. your 5th vote if it's in the pocket?

No, Bobo's temper tantrum was for Kennedy, who has signed on to Nino & Sam's overturn of Obamacare.

"may his name be damned for all eternity "

Strong words, with which I totally agree.

The 1.5 bil$ Obie's giving to the Egyptian muslim-brotherhood has finally and completely convinced me that Obama's agenda is nothing more than redistribution of wealth. Unions, govt. jobs, the muslim brotherhood....hundreds of other examples litter his time in office.

“From the pointed questions asked and the vacuous answers given, he appears not to have succeeded.

Sensing trouble, the president followed up this disastrous performance by launching a thoroughly bizarre attack on the court.”

Stagecraft. Nothing less. Obamacare isn’t in trouble. The court will uphold the legislation. That is what dihonest prople do, they lie. I’ll be surprised (pleasently) if they overturn. The authors description, in his penultimate paragraph, of the left in general and Obozo in particular makes the point.

Yeah ... way too much. The liberal MSM is in the tank for this narcissistic affirmative action idiot.

I am a former resident of the State of Minnestoopid. I caught hell for criticizing the “most athletic, most intelligent President in the history of the United States”.
As far as I am concerned, I left North Korea.

This is a dog-bites-man story.

Obama routinely insults the voters’ intelligence. He arrogantly insults the integrity of his opposition in Congress and he blithely insults the competence of actors in the free market. It was only natural that he would insult the Court. It would only be extraordinary if he were not to have insulted the Court.

His master is Marx, who wrote:

Worlds I would destroy for ever,
Since I can create no world,
Since my call they notice never,
Coursing dumb in magic whirl.

and

“Till heart’s bewitched, till senses reel:
With Satan I have struck my deal.
He chalks the signs, beats time for me,
I play the death march fast and free.”

Obama’s “exceptional wisdom” is kinda like the Loch Ness monster – lotsa
people claim to have seen it but no one seems to be able to produce an
example, and the alleged evidence of it turns out to have been faked.

OOPS, Addendum: MENSA requires an IQ score of 130, not 132. An IQ of 130 puts you in the top 2%, the MENSA min.

None of that has any meaning without
the standard deviation of the test.

The correct answer is 98%ile or higher.

Qualifying test scores

Lacking any evidence to the contrary I’d give Obama an IQ of below 130 (not MENSA level).
