We just finished our first quarter fundraising report, and we want to share our good news with you first.
Our campaign raised $6.9 million from January through March. That's more than double the amount raised by our opponent, incumbent Republican Senator Scott Brown.
Scott Brown still has $4 million more in the bank than we do, and there's a lot of work ahead to do to close the gap. But this proves we're building something special.
I want to share a few statistics that make me really proud:
Elizabeth outraised Scott Brown right here in Massachusetts.
More than 30,000 men and women from 350 cities and towns across Massachusetts have contributed to our campaign. 83% of our donations since January 1st have been $50 or less.
We're making enormous progress to build the grassroots team we need to win -- and we're doing it thanks to people like you.
As Elizabeth says, we need to work together if we are going to have a say in who we are and what kind of country we want to be. Watch this new video of Elizabeth, share it with your friends, and ask them to be a part of our historic campaign for middle class families:
Thanks!

Yes, Lizzie, you certainly can identify with the middle class -- the "Little People" who make between $25K and $100K per year! Just another toffey-nosed Harvard Hypocrite.

Hey Lizzie, when are you going to release your financial statements?
Ley Lizzie, would you like to explain to people how you reconcile your present positions with the days when you helped State Farm set up their independent agency businesses in flood zones to enable them to declare bankruptcy and walk away from paying off homeowners and farm owners in event of a disaster?
Hey Lizzie, why would the same ‘fat cats’ in big business give you money when you say you’re going after them unless they know you don’t really mean it?
30000 * 0.83 = 24900 * 50 = 1.245 million, at most
30000 * 0.17 = 5100.
(6900000 - 1245000)/5100 = 1108.82
I don’t know if that’s out of line for a campaign like this or not.
But hey, 17% of the contributors donated at least 82% of the money (she said $50 or less for the 83%). There’s something not fair about that.
Please send me more money so that I can get the money out of politics. Beautiful! /sarc
Still think she’ll win. Any state that would take free oil from Joe Kennedy and Hugo Chavez will just eat up her class warfare rhetoric like so much chowdah.
Property address: 24 Linnaean Sreet,Cambridge,MA 02138
Assessed value: $1,749,000 (which means its market value is 2 million)
Mortgage:dated 6/7/2007= $1,320,000
These facts, along with here obscene salary (obscene for someone who does nothing but sit and "think"),puts her firmly among the 1%.And yet she proudly claims responsibility for Occupy Wall Street. No wonder the polls put her behind Scott Brown.
She clearly has a far better Dem Machine handler than did Martha (”Shake hands? Ugh!”) Coakley.
