Being that Zimmerman is a Democrat, his weltanschauung is probably upside down considering all the people he respected and was a part of are now actively destroying him. He is probably shuttered in someones basement wondering what happened to his old life. That is why he is shutting out the lawyers. He might not talk to anyone anymore. You are not the only one wondering if Zimmerman had a meltdown, or perhaps something happened with his lawyers that has made him not trust them, or perhaps his lawyers were made an 'offer they could not refuse'. Imagine if your entire worldview were turned upside down and inside out!
