His family has NOT said they can’t get hold of him.
My guess is they were pressuring him for money (which even we know he doesn’t have....YET)
He isn’t under contract with them. Only two days, since Sunday??? Why be upset for such a short period of time? Even my family may go a couple of days without contact.
Why make a public announcement like this about a client or even a potential client?
They know his address and can send him a letter resigning, and they could tell the prosecutor quietly.
I don’t understand the “ethics” of some attorneys.
