We've never had a better chance to win than this. If they screw this up, folks...

To use a football analogy, it's first-and-goal at the one, and we're handing off the ball to our water boy.

To use a baseball analogy, the bases are loaded, and we're sending our bat boy to the plate.

He won’t be taking on the EPA. He won’t end the marxist indoctrination going on in our schools. He won’t interfere with the growing global control of the USA. He won’t stop the illegal invasion of our country. He won’t make any real appreciable cuts in spending......

Amen, Guenevere.

I won’t vote for Mitt, either.

I knew all the way back in November that the fix was in that it was going to be Romney in the end. Especially when Herman Cain got run out with the baseless sex allegations. Of course as soon as he dropped out, we haven’t heard a peep from the women since !

As seeing a posting in this thread, I don’t want to see another Bush run for POTUS. They are Northeastern Establishment liberals especially George HW Bush. I am so fed up with the Eastern Establishment. They ran things for almost a 100 years and they have ran this country into the ground. If we get our heads out of our collective @$$es, we should go out of the way to ensure that anyone who runs for office are not elected if they have any kind of East Coast Ivy League education or are even from the Northeast.

In fact we should go further. Send carpetbaggers from the Western and Southern states to the NE states and run for office there and win the office. Give them a taste of their own medicine. Like former congressman Grayson, he was out of NY and moved to FL and then got 1 term in the House. It should be done in a way where the only NE liberals have are just the cities themselves like NYC, Boston, Wash DC and that is it. All other districts in the NE would have a carpetbagger from the US West or Southern states.

The GOPe doesn’t care.

They want to pander and be almost as left as the Dems.

Then they have conservatives to blame when they lose.

Romney will say whatever he thinks the audience wants to hear.

- He would tell Planned Parenthood that he is their guy and then tell us he is a conservative.

That is what Mittens does.

I’m done settling. I’m done with the GOP.

They want my support, nominate a candidate who isn’t pro abortion, pro gay marriage and pro public healthcare.

I noticed Rush didn’t say that he believed wRongney when he “sounded just like us.” There was no assurance there. Rush has said in the past that any of the Repubs are better than Barry, but I didn’t read any of that confidence in this excerpt.

So, why do you think that is? Did we, or you, not have a dog in this fight? If not, why not? If so, why didn't the TrueConservativeTM get the nod? There is only so much we can blame on "the old-line party apparatus", and "smoke-filled rooms".

I'm just asking the question, not making accusations. I've seen election after election where conservatives bemoan the character and quality of the candidates on our side, but I always wonder, why don't we have the perfect, absolutely pure, 100% TrueConservativeTM step up and get on the ballot?

They gave obama a trillion dollar increase in the spending cap in place to force the government to limit spending... and they did it twice! They helped put us in debt!

The Virginia primary was a bellweather for just how bad Romney is.

We haven't had primaries here all that long and cherish them. Without party registration (we used to have a one party autocracy) all primaries are open.

You can usually count on 1.5 million people, or more, to show up if there's any sort of contest.

What an opportunity for the Republicans to get a feel for 10 candidates eh?

Well, guess what, the Mitbots in charge here made sure that Mitt's nominating petitions weren't verified but everyone else's were.

We ended up with Romney and Paul as choices.

INSTANTLY 1,000,000 people who cherish their vote DID NOT SHOW UP.

Not really ~ his ambition is pretty obvious to me ~ he wants his mail delivered by a 65 year old wino for $8.50 an hour, and his tax returned reviewed preparatory for audit by an 18 year old highschool dropout.

I do not even listen to what people have to say. I look at what they do. In the case of “professional politicans”, I look at what they did in office.

Thank you for saying that. It just happens to be the ONLY correct way to choose which candidate to vote for in any race.

Look, don't listen.

You'd think that would be indelibly inscribed on every Freeper's conscience by now.

I was in local government for nearly 20 years, and getting a conservative to show up a village meeting was like asking a vampire to attend a sunrise cross ceremony.

You're right. Show up at the capitol more than once, and they decide you're a lobbyist.

Should Romney pull it off in November, there still remains the nagging concern that he will not be willing to aggressively restructure the Federal government to return its control back to the people.

Nagging concern? If Romney becomes president, you can rest assured that he won't move a single muscle to reform our de facto Socialist government.

Don't believe me? Check his governing record. It's almost as liberal as Obama's. I don't give a damn what he's said on the campaign trail. His record tells the story of who he really is.

“He sounds just like you and me when we talk about it.”

Rush, Rush, why say anything at all? I know you are one of the brightest bulbs in media and you used it to get where you are.

But you just showed that you may be weak in not admitting that ROMNEY IS A MASTER LIAR.

ROMNEY told you what he wanted you to hear, for political purposes.

He has no core, a phony through and through.

He is a liar period, fini, al finale....a liar of the hurtful kind...one that makes you feel a fool later for ever having sucked up to his brand of bovine excrement.

Romney’s actions as Governor has me believing he is NOT a conservative. I think Romney will say what he thinks someone wants to hear. He talks conservative to conservatives, he talks liberal to liberals, but at heart his actions say NOT conservative.

I’m not voting for Romney or Obama. I’ll probably vote for the constitution party, but I’ll look at all alternatives.

On September 9, 1991, President George H.W. Bush (POTUS 41) told Gorbachev in Helsinki that each crisis is “an opportunity to develop out of this tragedy a new world order”.

Two days later, POTUS 41 added: “Out of these troubled times, our fifth objective - a new world order - can emerge...We are now in sight of a United Nations that performs as envisioned by its founders.”

On October 1, 1990, President Bush told the General Assembly of the United Nations: “The United Nations can help bring about a new day...a new world order, and a long era of peace.”

The Bushs and the Romneys are globalists. They see themselves as citizens of the world first and Americans...well, somewhere further down the list!
