The very act of being handed the ballot, whether he touches it or not, is enough to show that identification is needed, since anyone watching the video understands what is going on, i.e., that the official thinks O'Keefe is the person in question.

Uhh. Am I missing something here. No ID is required to vote. That is the reason for the Project Veritas investigation. He only asked if there was a voter by a certain name registered. Nothing more. I would be open for a change of mind if you could cite a specific law.

Maybe you missed my previous post. The point is that he could have avoided the appearance of impropriety had he just made it clear to the official, verbally, that he wasn't the person in question.

The point I was making in the post you responded to is that the very act of offering the ballot is enough for O'Keefe to demonstrate that ID is required.
