A month ago the NYTIMES did a major story on Boko Haram , describing its existence as an understandable reaction to Nigeriaan corruption and poverty. The Islamic motivation was downplayed and the fact that the organization had murdered hundreds of Nigerian Christians precisely BECAUSE they were Christians was simply spiked, not reported at all. The TIMES, like State Dept. official Carson and liberals in general, simply doesn't care about the lives of believing Christians, whether in Nigeria, Egypt, Iraq, Syria or Indonesia. If anything the unstated assumption is that the Christians deserve it. Look at the way Obama is attempting to crush the freedom of Christian believers here.
