I've been all in for Newt Gingrich since the beginning, and I'm
choosing to believe that Rick Santorum dropped out because precious Bella's health is more precarious than we know, and NOT as the media and nastier reporters would have us believe that Santorum feared he would lose his home state of PA, so please cut the crap that Newt Gingrich had any influence on his decision.
The day before Santorum's announcement, the evil Romney pulled his vicious attack ads. That should had given you all and everyone else the first major clue that something was distressfully wrong within the Santorum family.
Instead of looking for a scape goat, I suggest everyone pray extra mightily for little Bella and Rick's family.

I don’t believe that Newt influenced Rick’s decision to drop out.
I do believe that he affected the course of the primary race, however, and that if he were not in the running, we would have had a different outcome that doesn’t involve a Massachusetts liberal.
