I am voting for Obama. This country is finished. Do it quickly rather than slowly, and possibly reverse-frog pot boiling the people to wake the hell up and defend it before its too late.

.....What a jerk.

Lots of jerks on Twitter too. I have been called lots of names because I am not doing as the cult demands and supporting Romney "because I have no choice".I have also been told to leave the country. Romney and his cult followers, the GOP establishment and media can kiss my grits.

I will also gladly cast my Texas vote for Gingrich, the only true conservative.

Romney can go to h-e-double hockey sticks.

The tendency has been to refrain from going to vote. Please get your like-minded acquaintances to take the time to vote in this primary, as many of us did in South Carolina. Guess what? Romney lost here, in spite of continual telephone-call abuse and a blue-zillion TV ads.

It CAN happen in other state primaries where the Conservatives have not yet spoken against this manipulated nominating process. Romney’s crowd changed the party primary rules enough to favor heavily the richest candidate.

We’ve got a Senate primary in Pennsylvania too so I certainly hope conservatives show up to vote for Newt and a conservative Senate choice.

I'm really hoping a miracle will happen and we can turn this around in the convention.

We cans still make our voice heard.

Anyway, I'm so disgusted with this "kamikazee" attitude with running romney the GOP is pretty much dead to me.

Can he even win?

No, he can't... that never was the plan. The GOP E's plan was to hopefully hold onto the House while sacrificing the race for the White House.

On election night, Romney will be giving his concession speech before voting is finished in Mountain Time.

I agree. Donate to and support conservative House candidates and fight to at least hold that portion of Congress. As for the Senate, even though hopes for an outright GOP majority are fading, we can at least try to make it as close to 50-50 as possible in order to make Obama and Harry Reid earn their pay.

“Time for plan 9 from outer space.”

Digging up Reagan’s corpse won’t help us any. (You do know what “Plan 9” was, right?)

We should insist upon a conservative VP, but it won’t be Newt (and he’d be the first one to tell you). And assuming that we’d be able to impeach and remove a President Romney (for what “high crime or misdemeanor,” exactly?) is risible (we’d need 67 votes for conviction in the Senate). That’s not the choice before us.

We’re stuck with Romney now, and if he doesn’t win in November, Obama will. I have a very low opinion of Romney and his interest and ability to move the conservative agenda, but I know exactly what Obama has in store for a second term, and it would be far worse than anything Romney could do. We need to hold Romney’s feet to the fire, demand a conservative runningmate, elect large conservative majorities in both houses of Congress, and put the fear of God into Romney so that he signs conservative legislation and nominates conservative judges or else face a conservative primary challenger in 2016 (when, if Romney’s performance as president didn’t match his campaign rhetoric, he’d be toast).

I was an ABR (Anybody But Romney) guy since 2008 (when I supported Fred Thompson, but switched to McCain after FDT dropped out in order to stop Romney), and this year I was a strong Santorum supporter, but we have to face facts here. Romney will be the GOP presidential nominee, and if he doesn’t get elected Obama will get reelected. The choice is clear; I don’t like the options any more than you do, but there’s no doubt in my mind that 4 more years of Obama would do permanent damage to our nation while 4 years of Romney would at least give us a fighting chance of turning this around.

“As for the Senate, even though hopes for an outright GOP majority are fading . . .”

Don’t believe that false narrative the media are pushing. The likeliest result of the 2012 Senate elections would be a net GOP pickup of 6 seats, giving us a 53-47 advantage. And if we get to 53-47, we would be on pace for a 60-seat majority after 2014 (when all of those weak Dems elected in the 2008 massacre are up).

Can he even win?

Of course he can, and probably will win; by appealing to his base - Moderates and disaffected Democrats.

Well since it looks like Willard is going to be our nominee I hope he is as eager to smear Obama as he was Newt and Rick. He’s going to have to go ultra negative and fast.

"April 10th 6PM: “Governor Perry will strongly endorse and work for the Republican nominee, since our priority must be to replace President Obama and his destructive policies. As a former U.S. military officer and a proud Aggie, Rick Perry puts a premium on loyalty and therefore today remains Newt Gingrich backer.”

And there, ladies and gentlemen, is the character of the man who would have made the most excellent president. God help us for letting him slip away.

Don’t hold your breath. Romney has already said people will wait a long time for him to attack Obama. He’s even repeatedly refused to call him a socialist.

This cannot be repeated too many times:

“If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures.” - Alexander Hamilton

The GOP-E’s plan is to hold a firebreak in the Senate (The Filibusterer). They wouldn’t mind losing the House, as it would get rid of the Tea Party candidates. It would also mean that they wouldn’t have to do anything substantial policy wise.

We are keeping their precious Bella in our prayers

That makes my stomach turn. Who does an habitual LIAR pray to? Mitt only says what will make him look good because if one strips him, he is nothing but evil!
