We just had a visit from the town assessor. He wanted to come in, but I told him it wasn't a good time. I asked him if it was necessary, and he said "no" but that the assessment was likely to be higher, and I understood, yes?

I took a card from him so that we could make an appointment for him to come back and look around inside, which is likely to be very inconvenient and probably impossible.
