Since WHEN has the Republican congress ever stood up to Obama? He made recess appointments when the congress wasn’t even in recess and they did nothing about it except hide under their desks.

There’s no reason to think they would be any more assertive during his second administration.

If you think Congress is weak against Obama...imagine what they will be if Romney gets in.... Windflier is right...they’ll go to sleep because they see Romney as one of their own and for that won’t lift a finger.

And it would be far worse under that lying, left-wing, Progressive Liberal Mitt Romney, just as it was under GWB when the GOP controlled congress only stood up to Bush on two items, McCain-Kennedy, and one SCOTUS nomination.

With GWB, we got drastically increased size of government, TARP, etc.

With Romney, we will get drastically increased size of government, More bailouts, support for the Gay Agenda, no fight at all for Pro-Life issues, and probably, just like he did in MA, talk about being Pro-Life, and then implementing the policies of the Pro-Abortion crowd and making excuses that the Supreme Court made me do it.
