Democratic strategist Hilary Rosen wants Republicans to spare her the "faux anger" as backlash against her continues to build for saying Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's wife, Ann Romney, "never worked a day in her life."
The remarks were seen as an attack on stay-at-home mothers, being that Ann Romney cared for her five children -- Tagg, Matt, Josh, Ben and Craig -- as a housewife.
"Guess what, [Romney's] wife has actually never worked a day in her life," Rosen told CNN, referring to Ann Romney.
Ann Romney used her first tweet to suggest raising five children amounted to a job.
"I made a choice to stay home and raise five boys. Believe me, it was hard work," she tweeted.
Politicos on both sides of the aisle condemned Hilary Rosen's remarks, including top advisers to President Barack Obama.

My hat’s off to you! It is such hard work... lots of sacrifice and juggling finances to make that happen, yet very little appreciation in today’s (and yesterday’s) society. I did it myself. My youngest is 24 now. I’ve enjoyed reading your comments. It gives me great hope. Keep it up ladies, and take courage. You are raising a generation that may well save our Republic.

Has Michelle Obama ever held a job outside the home? I’m not talking about that phony job she had with that Chicago hospital where she was paid 300 gs for not showing up. If she hasn’t, does anyone think that the Dems wouldn’t attack any conservative who said she never worked outside the house? Freaking hypocrites.

To be honest, she likely saves us more money by staying home, than what she'd make if she were "externally employed". So many of the people I work with would be much better off with getting by on only one salary, and skipping the Daycare, fancy clothes, commuting expenses, daily starbucks, daily lunches, after work beers, and so on and so on....
For instance, a bunch of people in my office pay to have their laundry done. Nothing fancy, no dry cleaning or large items (like what we occasionally take to the dry cleaners), they just pay by the pound to have someone stuff their laundry in a machine and press "start". Sez me, when you're so "busy" with work that you can't manage a task as simple as that without outsourcing it to the tune of 20, 30 or 50 bucks a week, then you need to re-evaluate your life. :-)

I also heard on the news today she had breast cancer.
