See the Liar Romney Defend the Mandate BEFORE Obama was even Elected!

"Whoa Nellie! Where did THIS come from?

The Fox News network, with its deep bench of producers, associate producers and “investigative journalists” didn’t have access to these video clips? Of course they did. The truth is that this is about as scandalous as the Machiavellianism their sister company Sky News engaged in their phone tapping/hacking scandal that caused Rupert Murdoch’s son James to resign in humiliation.

Fox news apparently sat on these clips as though they didn’t exist – just as they CONCEALED the fact they damned well knew – that Mitt Romney repeatedly lied to us and his challengers about his supporting the mandate throughout the debates.

What we have here is an explanation of why David Axelrod and other top Obama operatives were publicly stating they want to face Mitt Romney in the primaries. It also explains why they..."

I’ll not repeat your condescending crap, so you can just go to your posts number 50 and 59 and read your own condescending bilge. Yeah, you’re an insulting, condescending asshat, arrogant and haughty. A typical dead-soul libertarian.

It’s okay for you to admit that you accused me of insulting a Freeper and can’t back it up. I referenced groups in general and given the quality of the arguments proffered, I think I was even-handed, not condescending. You are entitled to your own opinion of course.

BTW, given the response you just sent my way, I’d be a bit more circumspect about accusing others of being insulting. That’s just me.

3 Mittbots. Their past posting history speaks volumes. I don’t have an issue with anyone who says they will vote for Mittens if he is the only one left standing to overthrow the Commie and his administration. I do have a huge problem with Mittbots that came to FR to bad mouth the conservative candidates, then tell us how great Mittens is.

We held our noses last time around and voted for McCain. We won't again. Who's next Jeb Bush?

If the party elite got behind Sarah Palin instead of trying to destroy her they might have had a Reagan like landslide.

Remember Romney's carpet bombing of Gingrich after Newt won SC. I do. I never forget.

I don’t think you get it: ROMNEY IS OBAMA.

There is NO difference.

Versus answering for what your childish inaction will cause? Four more years of a marxist muslim's destruction of what's left of this nation? Pardon me but grow the hell up.

I'm a Christian first, so things like abortion do in fact matter to me. I cannot in good faith endorse somebody like Romney. In the past, I had no problem bending over and spreading for whatever GOP candidate was forced upon us, but since becoming a grandparent, things like abortion have started becoming a bigger issue for me. I'm also thinking about death and religion these days, and looking at the fact that in the past, I didn't take a stand for my Christian beliefs like I should have. If I don't start now, when am I going to? Am I just going to keep putting it off every 4 years as the GOP elites give us another crappy liberal pretending to be a Conservative?

And it's amusing that you think that one socialist with an (R) next to his name is somehow better than another socialist with a (D) next to his name.

Who do you want picking the next young supreme court nominee?

Based on the actual track record of Romney, not what he's out there telling people, but looking at who he has actually appointed when he had the chance as Governor, I would say "neither" because both would appoint more liberals.

This is the choice we have, deal with it like a grown-up. And please save any third-party crap for your next Star Trek convention.

Nice, you can't defend your support of Romney so you resort to personal insults.

Go ahead, mock me for sticking to my pro-life Christian principles, say I'm not a "grown-up". Tell me that my religious views on abortion are "childish". It's not going to change my opinion one bit. I'm done voting for liberals with an (R) next to their names.

You said my views as a Christian would lead to "childish inaction". You told me to "grow the hell up" and "deal with it like a grown-up" and you also said "save any third-party crap for your next Star Trek convention".

You are not even-handed - you don't reference somebody sticking to their Christian principles as "childish inaction" and you don't tell them to "grow the hell up" because they won't compromise on things like abortion, and pretend like you are even-handed.

A reading from the Book of ZOT!

And so it CONTINUED to pass that as The Great Cat blew the Great Horn of Rebellion at the oncoming RINO Horde, didith the traitorous and cowardly amongst the faithful rise up against him.

In the most ancient tome brethren, we are warned of deceit. We are warned of those whose faith is but a fleeting thing, suited only to situation and bendable as a branch in the wind. But what of the tree that sprouted it? The tree gives no way and must be verily uprooted before the storm!

But as all trees, they require maintenance to ensure their optimal growth and health, less branches broken from excessive bending lead to a messy yard. And so it was that The Great Cat didith take to pruning his hedges; mightly and with great vigor!.

And it didith transpire that dsthompson (no Jim Thompson, he) IceAge (truly a bad thing for optimal forest health), and Once-Ler (ultimately ironic considering the subject matter) didith recievith the touch of sacred steel. And much voltage.

We mourn these branches’ passing, as it is never a good thing to see a former brethren fall. But their growth had entangled them with the lines of power above them. And as any good lineman knows, branches coming into contact with high voltage results in significant outages.

And so did the fuzzy winged (legal) lawn maintenance crew descend from Valhalla to pick through the charred bits and bytes of these formerly healthy branches, loading them into the cart pulled by the eight-legged steed and delivered off to the ditch out behind fell Trollhenge, where their remains act as a leech field for the pipings of the Great Porcelain Receptacle.

Greetings, Norman, ye Druid of Ode.

The half of the Great Zot has not been told.

Some to belittle and some to conspire,

All stand in a circle and commence to fire.

Yea,it is a terrible sight to behold.

You have Lamar Smith (TX) endorsing Romney in 2008, but don’t forget that he was an early endorser of Romney this time around, and in fact endorsed him back in May of last year, before he (or we) knew what the field was going to be. Plus Smith tried to push SOPA on us, which could be used to destroy websites like Free Republic. SOPA belongs in China, not the United States of America.

You conveniently avoid the basic problem. We have two people to pick from; both support abortion, both represent a degree of progressivism conservatives find repulsive. This is beyond your particular faith. We are faced with a decision with no good answer. Grown-ups do not run from the decision, we weigh the issues and “satisfice”; we make the best decision we can. You seem to be lost in the conceit of inaction. I recognize, to no great credit to me, that choosing is necessary.

I’m very hungry. On the menu is an MRE, ten years out of date that looks like the mice may have been at it or a steaming fresh plate of hyena crap. Neither looks particularly appetizing but I can make a choice. So can any grown up.

Nothing is beyond my faith, because my faith is who I am. I will not vote for somebody who has a clear record of supporting abortion, supporting more restrictions on firearms, and appointing liberal judges, among other despicable things that both Obama and Romney have done. I have compromised my faith and principles too many times simply because the GOP told me to.

I'm not avoiding the problem, I'm taking it head on. I'm telling the GOP establishment that I'm done bending over and spreading for whatever RINO they've blessed.

The problem is with the GOP. They can remedy that problem by stopping this 24 year trend of shoving Big Government RINOs upon us.

I’m very hungry. On the menu is an MRE, ten years out of date that looks like the mice may have been at it or a steaming fresh plate of hyena crap. Neither looks particularly appetizing but I can make a choice. So can any grown up.

Besides the "grown up" insults you keep tossing peoples' ways that are a piss-poor attempt at diverting the argument away from Romney and on to posters you don't agree with, your analogies are just plain bad and do nothing to bolster your argument. If you are going to talk about being grown-up, at least pick an analogy that makes sense to grown-ups.

Your analogy would make more sense if you referred to Romney as a steaming fresh plate of elephant crap and Obama as a steaming fresh plate of donkey crap, because both of them are equally unpalatable to Conservatives.

Obama is not a reason to vote for Romney, he's an excuse for somebody to try and make themselves feel better about voting for Romney. Obama is also an excuse for those who enjoy bending over and spreading for the GOP establishment.
