“I think most folks understand how hard I work and how hard this administration is working on behalf of the American people,” he said.

The comments came in an interview with Larry Conners of KMOV-St. Louis, who asked: “The economy is a big issue and concern for folks. I mean, the unemployment, trying to make ends meet, gas prices, food prices going up.

Someone needs to clue Obumbles in on the fact that when he plays more golf than Tiger Woods, he’s not working that hard. On second thought, don’t tell him.

I don’t suppose Mr. Conners will be interviewing Obama again anytime soon.

Actually, someone needs to clue in the IRS re: the FMV of the vacations taken by family members. Those are taxable “benefits” provided for non-business reasons. Sounds like someone owes more than they reported. Whistleblower anyone?

Before that, according to the Washington Examiner, the Obamas had taken 16 vacations at taxpayer expense.

They include a President’s Day 2012 ski trip to Colorado, an extended stay in Hawaii at Christmas 2011, a Martha’s Vineyard, Mass., vacation during summer of 2011, a trip to Africa and Botswana in June 2011, another Colorado ski vacation on President’s Day 2011, Christmas 2011 for an extended trip to Hawaii.

Before that it was Florida, Chicago, Spain, Martha’s Vineyard again, Mount Desert Island, Maine, Chicago, New York City, Hawaii, Yellowstone National Park, Grand Canyon and Martha’s Vineyard again.

Wow. In 3.5 years? In 2010 my wife and I spend our anniversary in a cabin near Gatlinburg. In 2011, after delaying the trip for 3 years (pay cut, job loss, etc), we took the family to Disney.

In the past 5 years, I've had 3 vacations. I'm sure there are many that haven't had any.

Good Post!!

Obama & family not only take many vacations on our Tax Payer’s dime, they often use 2 planes instead of one....... because Michelle does not want to delay her vacations.

Most average people don’t have enough extra money to have one vacation a year.

Gas prices, food prices, utility prices, clothing prices are eating into their budget!!

The Obama’s are out of touch with reality!! They don’t care about us!!

They are throwing all of these vacations into the faces of the hard working average families who have tightened their belts just to survive!!

He is so full of sh#t, and I swear I’ve never seen a more immature person, never taking responsibility for anything, in any high level of government or business in all my life (and hopefully never again).

The alternative to his constant golfing and jetting off to exotic vacations, and using government assets to campaign, is having him in Washington issuing assinine, race-baiting statements like “so-and-so acted stupidly” or “If I had a son,” and spending tax dollars as fast as he can, and abridging the Constitution and laws with “Obamacare” and guns to Mexican drug cartels.

“most folks understand how hard I work and how hard this administration is working on behalf of the American people”

Yeah Barry, we do. Anyone but Romney could beat this clown.

Yeah, and the problem is how many of these hard working average families will march back into the voting booth this November and vote to put this a-hole back in?

Yes Indeed. I think you have started a nice list opportunity.

......and parties harder than Charlie Sheen.

.....and vacations more than the retirees who live on cruise ships.

....and meets more often with his fund raisers than his cabinet members.

Oh good grief, get that man a cross. Put it in the oval office, so he can hang on it between golf matches.

I can't stand the way he refers to us as “folks”. Why doesn't he just come out and call us comrades?

What most people don’t realize or understand is, that Obama doesn’t look at his job as work. He views his position as that of a prince or a king, and so, he’s going to go around strutting his stuff, with his well-know swagger, letting everyone know that, he is The King, and everyone else is the pauper or servant or subject of the kingdom. Michelle performs her “queenly” duties as if she really was a queen, and they will use the government services as if they were entitled to them.

I really, really hate that. Also when he drops back into his ersatz street lingo, droppin’ them g’s and launchin’ into that hectorin’ cadence. If there’s anything worse than a street thug, it’s a wannabe street thug.
