What FR ought to look like in January is a site that will oppose any liberal policies coming from the government. Isn’t that what it already looks like? Why would it change?
You need to understand that conservatism does not equal GOP by default and GOP does not equal conservatism by default. Like Sean Hannity says, he’s a registered conservative, not a registered Republican.
If Romney is elected, sites and forums standing up for true conservatism rather than “team playing” GOP cheerleading will probably become even rarer, making FR an all-the-more desirable and valuable destination.
It is simply arrogance on your part to assume that I do not understand this. Nothing more, nothing less.
This is the time for rebellion against the gop/e... we can never hold more power than now and we will never have another chance to turn the gop around... literally. The gop is a progressive party in reality. They are almost as progressive as the rats. The old line dims are in perfect sync with the gop/e. The new dims are outright communists.
If we do not stand up now... WHEN??? If we ever hope to stop the ever present slide into communism... we must stand up. Those that do not stand with us... are against us... and we Conservatives had better get used to fighting both parties. I am absolutely horrified at some of the FReepers that are rolling over and going along with everything that they have fought since this con was pulled on us in 2008. Deny them money... deny them support and deny them your vote. The left took over the dim party using these same exact tactics... they lost a few elections and then BAM... their agenda was put into place in 3 1/2 short years.
