"On the conference call Angie from Alabama brought up an idea to have a rally day for Newt. I added the idea to title it Newt Across America.

The next big day coming up before the April 24th primaries is Tax Day on April 17th. As you know media will cover this day and will be out at the main post offices for the most part in their cities.

This would be a great day to have people at the main post office with signs, passing out information and getting people to donate to Newt's campaign."

So the plan is to gather up your fellow Newt supporters, load up your homemade signs- maybe make up some flyers, & head out to the Main Post Office where you are on Tax Day, Tuesday, April 17th, when people will be lining up to mail their tax returns. This has always received good coverage because the post offices are swamped. (I recommend carpooling to save space & avoid irritation to the people lucky enough :-) or masochistic, trying to find a parking place.
