I wondered aloud on the other thread whether anyone with time on his hands and access to either the Venona material or the Russian KGB archives that Yeltsin opened and Putin (surprisingly) continued to leave open for at least a time (don't know about status now), has checked to see whether the Dunhams and Frank Marshall Davis show up.

Given what we know about the family, I would not be surprised to read that one or both of Stanley Ann's parents was a KGB illegal. The possibility needs research.
