Our resident took a tax deduction oof $12,000 dollars for each of his kids this year. $24,000 dollars that he gave his children so he could use it as a deduction, but he claims other rich people like himself do not need tax deductions.

Correction:
Both Pbama & MICHELLE each ‘gave’ $12,000 ‘gifts’ to Each of the children, totally $48,000 in deductions!
I know that a gift up to $12,000 is not taxable income to the children——but where does it say that such a gift is a DEDUCTION for the giving party?
I need some tax help here, please.
Also- got word this AM that Obama took the deduction for “OFFICE IN HOME” !!!
If he did—he doesn’t LIVE in his Illinois residence!!! & the taxpayers fund all of his living expenses inside the White House!!!
