PYONGYANG, North Korea (AP) North Korea's new leader addressed his nation and the world for the first time Sunday, vowing to place top priority on his impoverished nation's military, which promptly unveiled a new long-range missile.
The speech was the culmination of two weeks of celebrations marking the centenary of the birth of his grandfather, national founder Kim Il Sung festivities that were marred by a failed launch Friday of a rocket that generated international condemnation and cost North Korea a food aid-for-nuclear-freeze deal with Washington.

Cha Myong Hui, a journalist with the government-run Minju Joson newspaper, said she was struck by how much he resembles his father and grandfather.
"I can tell you every person in my country cried when they heard his voice," she said.
I believe that. It was partly out of the fear of death and the realization their national nightmare of the Kim seemingly has no end.

Japanese TV last night analyzed with a fine tooth comb and discovered the following:
a) He has been coached to sound JUST LIKE HIS GRANDFATHER, dictator and DPRK founder Kim Il Sung. They noted his vote ranges, at 125hz, where it rose and fell, the wavelength, tone, etc, and apparantly he practiced mimicking the grandfather. This is why he adhered so much to reading the text, not looking up and heaven forbid, ad-libbing it. I am sure it had the voice inflexion tones. I listened and he did sound like old grand dad (R.I.H.)
b) Nonetheless KJU (Chia Chub) was as nervous as a chronic diarreah outpatient on cross New Mexico desert trip with only one pit stop scheduled. The Japanese TV researchers noted that KJU pivoted or rocked/swayed from one foot to the other, nervously swaying during the 00:22 speech, for no less than 110 times. They did fast motion to show this. (Of course, it could also be he shifts to keep the weight off his knees, looks to be to be well over 120 kgs.
Just FYI.

Yes, I notice that he is swaying side to side, sometimes rotating himself side to side. It is really odd. Won’t inspire confidence. His clock is ticking fast.
