48% of Brits want to get out of the UK
The Sun ^ | April 15, 2012 | Tim Spanton

ALMOST half of all Britons are “seriously considering” moving overseas, an exclusive survey for The Sun has found.

Australia is top of the relocation wish list followed by the US, Canada and New Zealand.

The cost of living, weather, unemployment and crime are the most common reasons for wanting to quit Britain.

Pollsters YouGov quizzed 1,650 adults after The Sun told last week about Dave and Jackie Jones who emigrated to Australia with their 12 kids.

The family from Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria — who have never claimed benefits — quit in despair at what they see as soft-touch Britain’s emphasis on state handouts instead of opportunities.

Dave, 42, said: “I have to do the best for my kids and I feel the opportunities I want for them will not be in the UK.”

This will be the situation here if Obama wins re-election.

Perhaps they should call their country Not So Great Britain. Their plight makes the situation in the U.S. look good.

I guess no one is bothered by the ongoing subordination of Britain’s culture to the cult of diversity, otherwise it would’ve been among the reasons given for wanting to leave.

Not out loud, anyhow. "Zee PC polize iz everywhere..."

In America you can get into trouble mouthing off, but it's handled at the social level. Act like a jerk, people ignore you. Over there, they call the frigging cops and you get busted. Jail, fines, etc.

But ask them a year after they have reached wherever they have found sanctuary, assuming they don't have similar laws...

50% of Americans will want to bolt if Dear Leader wins again.

Maybe we could all find a new place to start over.

If those 48% would back the UKIP they could easily fix a lot of those problems.

3 of the 4 are directly due to their once magnificent society’s sick embrace of socialism and its essential twin, cultural/moral relativism

One can assume these are the producers in the UK. Can’t blame them as they are a generation ahead of the US “transformation”.

Maybe we could all find a new place to start over.

Any such place would be isolated and set upon by the rest of the world, as Israel is.

The dregs of the planet are calling the shots thru the UN and will not allow it.

We have to stand and fight.

Can we give them a conservative polygraph first?

You know, they could be like those liberal California dunces who soil their own bed, and then look for another fresh one to start all over again.

See Arizona, Nevada and Oregon.

What? And leave all that beautiful universal health care behind?

Been thinking that way myself. Is Australia getting more Capitalistic? I don't know where, but some country must want hard working people who just want to be left alone to sink or swim of their own volition. The reason the USA has prospered above all other countries is because of Capitalism. And the poor and welfare recipients live far better here than anywhere else. Do you think those living off the Government don't have cell phones? Cars? Homes? Flat screens? The USA is still the best place but it may become intolerable.

Found out in the last week that I have a sort of distant cousin who moved from England to Barcelona. Well, at least the weather is better.

Interesting. I’m vacationing in London in May for 10 days and will do a little research on this.
