Exactly. Regardless of efficiency the transition from one energy source to another should not be dictated by the Federal government and should not be subsidized by Federal Tax dollars.

I’m not anti wind farms totally, but if you don’t have a power plant for backup power during these failures, then you are in the dark and if it’s winter then you are freezing also. We should take it slow and no Federal subsides!
