I don’t use Facebook. But “investigated” by whom? Do we now have Speech Police?

That sign sums up Facebook in a majority of cases. That is the feeling I get about the site and how it is used.

Not a problem for me. No facebook, twitter, myspace and whatever is popular this week. I don't want people to know about me.

I didn't say he had it coming. Nowhere is my post is such a statement.
I'm only saying you have to be careful how you voice your opinions on Facebook and that's all.
It's not right that you should have to tip toe around certain topics, but if your a conservative, you have to watch what you say.
Freedom of expression is very one sided in America these days and only reserved for Liberal viewpoints. Anything else is bigoted, racists, phobic, close minded....you get my drift.

It’s time thus crap stops. They can’t own your thoughts and expressions. Fight it.

I dont use Facebook. But investigated by whom? Do we now have Speech Police?any large institution of any nature plays that role. I don't think the number of employees or constituents is carved in stone, but at some level either the Feds or their surrogates (private institutions. ins co's, medical providers, whatever) get involved and must regulate or disclose contractually.

It’s worse than that. Fire fighters are union. I know of one fire fighter having to register independant instead of republican due to union pressure.

Exactly why I never used it and never will. I really do not get why people do in the first place. There are people I do not want to see ever again, psychos and liberals that drove me up the wall. Why would I advertise myself?
And another thing that blows my mind is this obsession with credit cards. Now they even got credit card machines in taxis and newspaper shops here in New York city to the point where many people I know never carry cash. With this administration in power, why would they do that? With a flick of a keystroke the government can destroy anyone financially. “Oh you made a mistake on your IRS form...You owe the IRS $98,000 bucks so will just put a lein on all your accounts until you bow to the Obama.”

I have been telling my friends for years to stay away from FB (and similar sites).... No matter how I explain how dangerous (in so many ways) FB is, they laugh it off :/

You do what you have to keep your job; more so if you love it.
But that sounds like its actionable... Of course, the police and the local government are probably Union, too.

Pressure might have been the wrong word. Rookie fire fighter, newly joining the union. “suggestions” were made.

This type of activity described in the Miami Herald smacks of a beginning. Bingo. Although not a beginning, it's certainly a continuation.
I look for this to become the next national headline on the Zimmerman case. It'll be used to stir up race relations and get the Sharpton/Jackson/NBPP-types in the news again.

And the truth shall set you free...from your job!
Maybe, but he actually may not want that job anymore once a judge tosses the Zimmerman case out at the probable cause hearing and the natives start burning down their own neighborhoods.
