Is the lightning machine down for service today?

Once it kicks in and cleans FR of the Romneyites, it's gonna take down the grid.

I live in Texas and just recieved an automated call from the Romney camp to contribute to his campaign and recieve a free bumper sticker.

Wow! A free bumper sticker, eh? :-)

I've got a better bumper sticker to put on one's car: "Who wants to be a cheap date for Romney?"

And I do not forget how the GOPe went after candidates like Christine O'Donnell and Sharon Angle, ensuring their losses. They preferred to lose rather than to see the victory of a Tea Party candidate who had defeated a GOPe candidate. They even fought like hell to give the Senate nomination to Charlie Crist over Marco Rubio, who they have since co-opted.

Yes we can still win local races within the GOP, but the elites have a lock on the Presidential nomination. As a though exercise, imagine if the primaries had gone like this:

Missouri caucus;
Texas Primary
Florida Primary
Super Tuesday is South Carolina, Ohio, Iowa, Alabama, Colorado, Arizona and Idaho. New Hampshire thrown in for good measure, to cover all the regions.
By the time you are to this point, it's Romney who is in last place and gone, and the conservatives are in charge.

Bring up this proposal at the next RNC board of governors meeting, see what they say. And while you are at it, suggest that California gets 50 percent fewer votes per capita because they do not contribute votes in November. See how that goes down.

The fact is, the process is deliberately set up to favor a liberal that is acceptable to the Country Club set. They took the existing set up from the late 70s and set it in stone in a way that made that advantage permanent, instead of wondering why they can't win when the country is conservative.

“Palin has a position to maintain in the GOP, I don't.”

“You might notice that Palin is the main Republican who isn't running that hasn't endorsed Romney, that hardly seems like support.”
____________________________________________

I can't disagree with your points there. My point was simply to say that in the end, if Romney does become the GOP nominee, she indicated she would support him.

As others have mentioned, this isn't over yet. Despite my saying that I would vote for Romney if he becomes the nominee, I'm hoping that Newt can energize some of the electorate, and beat Romney. Newt would destroy Obama in debates!

"I believe that God is still blessing this nation, and Governor's Perry's untimely back surgery was God's way of telling him "Not now - I have plans for you later"."

You know, I tend to believe that myself. Perry learned some important lessons which would serve him well next time around. I can hope!

We ALREADY HAVE a ruinous socialist healthcare plan shoved down our throats. I broke a television screaming at that asshat fraud Stupak when he announced that he was caving. I know exactly what Romney did in Massachusetts and I know what he’s saying now (which is that he’ll do everything he can to repeal Obamacare). I also know what Obama already did and I have a pretty good idea of what he would do when he doesn’t have to worry about election.

I think you’re not understanding where we are in the fight on healthcare. Obama has a long history of pushing pure Communist policy and has already taken steps to implement it. You’re acting like we have a free market system and Romney is running on destroying it. Obama is already doing everything he can to do that.

I’m not going to defend the indefensible (Romney’s record on health care), but I *have* to take the chance that he means what he says on these issues because I am absolutely 100% certain where Obama stands.

Yes. As Gingrich has said, they want to manage Americas decline. They also want a place at the liberal table. Compliance will get them that. For a time.

So are you comparing Romney to Jesus, now that is weird.
I will vote all other offices, if Romney is the nominee, I will not vote for him. Romney who is no different than BHO.

Au contraire! I have access to a whole group of brand new voters....

And they DO talk politics! They post things on sites most of us don’t even go to. Can I, one person, turn this around? Of course not.

Will I not at least work with what’s been given me?

You know THAT answer.

A weak field and lack of a unified opposition got us here.

You would have been saying the same thing no matter who ran. Who has better credentials than Newt? No one; he singlehandedly took down the leading Democrats, putting some in jail, and then took the House, when Dole and other RNC losers were talking just like you.

So who? DeMint? What if he stumbled like Perry did, would you call him weak? Sarah? You'd be saying the media destroyed her, and that's why conservatives can't win. Jindal? Not ready. Rubio? Not ready.

You want to blame the field rather than place the blame where it belongs, with the GOPe and the media-e that they play footsie with. The fact is, no matter who got into the race who was conservative, that person was enemy no. 1 until they were gone. And it was Mitt, the GOPe and the MSM cooperating on that task. It went from Bachmann to Cain to Perry (or was it Perry to Cain, I forget) to Newt to Santorum. And in turn, each was attacked by Mitt's GOPe money and RNC insiders (like Rove, et al.) and the MSM, and they were ultimately done in by a process that lets Democrats vote in primaries that are held in the most liberal states.

No, it was not for lack of talent or fortune that conservatives were killed in this election. It was murder in the first degree.

If Koresh were the same as BHO, I would not vote for him just as I am not voting for Romney because he is like BHO.

Don't get me wrong. I think the Founders would roll over in their graves at something like the imposition of RomneyCare, but here I think we are in a position much like the liberals who think they can ban me from doing whatever I might want to do with nuclear weapons (and shotguns too). If we and they don't like it then we have to get a Constitutional Amendment legally ratified and added to the Constitution. Anything else is intellectually dishonest, IMHO.

Well, the problem in the last two primaries has been that the “moderate” gets all of the moderate and independent votes (and some of the conservative votes) while the actual conservative candidates split the votes of the actual party base. If this primary had been Gingrich against Romney from the start, Newt would’ve destroyed Romney running away.

The same thing happened to some degree in 1996 as well.

Milt Rominy is my own way of denigrating your candidate, Mitt Romney. It rhymes with hominy, the near tasteless corn product.

The video I post is much more recent than the one you would post to support your lies. Yes, Newt changed his mind as he learned more about the issues. He even pounded algore's idiocy into the dirt at a Congressional hearing, where Newt explained that anthropogenic global warming is a myth.

I don't believe a word you write now that we see you are more than eager to post video from the far past to support your lies. Did you happen to go to the link where Mister Robinson explains these items for fools like you? ... I didn't think so. Liars don't like being exposed, do you!

ABO is a strawman even if Palin uses it.

I liked Palin but have always reserved my worship for Almight God.

The question, my FRiend is “How to defeat both Romney and/or Obama whether primary or general?”

That’s what I’ll be focused on the next 7 months
