Holder Meets Sharpton
National Review ^ | APRIL 14, 2012 4:00 A.M. | By Andrew C. McCarthy

This week, our esteemed attorney general canoodled with Reverend Al at the annual convention of the “National Action Network,” home base for the infamous huckster (that would be Sharpton, not Holder — sorry for any confusion). It is difficult to imagine another attorney general in American history sucking up to such a race-mongering charlatan. The Sharpton record was succinctly catalogued on the Corner by Victor Davis Hanson: inciting murderous riots; slandering Jews, Mormons, and homosexuals; libeling a state prosecutor in the course of championing Tawana Brawley’s fabrication of a racial “hate crime.” Yet there was Holder, ladling cringe-making praise on Sharpton for “your partnership, your friendship, and your tireless efforts to speak out for the voiceless, to stand up for the powerless, and to shine a light on the problems we must solve and the promises we must fulfill.”

Republicans who voted to confirm Holder now complain about Holder

By Michelle Malkin • August 24, 2009 05:21 PM

GOP Sen. Kit Bond voted to confirm crime-coddling Attorney General Eric Holder on February 2, 2009. Sen. Bond cluelessly explained that Holder was “a good listener.” As I reported at the time, 19 Bend Over Republicans joined the majority to install Holder as head of the Obama Justice Department. Let me refresh your memories: Alexander (R-TN) Bennett (R-UT) Bond (R-MO) Chambliss (R-Ga) Collins (R-ME) Corker (R-TN) Graham (R-SC) Grassley (R-IA) Gregg (R-NH) Hatch (R-UT) Isakson (R-GA) Kyl (R-AZ) Lugar (R-IN) McCain (R-AZ) Murkowski (R-AK) Sessions (R-AL) Snowe (R-ME) Specter (R-PA) Voinovich (R-OH)

Superficial racism is a kind of profiling. I.e. "avoid that kind of human because the odds are he/she will cause a problem."

Stereotyping.

Not always a good thing...but common sense.

Don't wander to close to the edge of a crevasse because you might fall in. Avoid things that look dangerous.

But Holder's kind of racism is deeper than the superficial kind. He (like Jesse, Al, Jeremiah, and Barry) have gone below the superficial.

Racism below the surface is not an avoidance of certain stereotypes...it is a bitter hatred of certain stereotypes.

Holder is not trying to right a wrong. He is blind to that. He is seeking retribution.

Just like Obama and all his ilk...Holder wants "payback."

And not just payback against the guilty...Holder wants payback against any even distantly related to the guilty...he wants payback against any who even remotely resemble the guilty.

His hatred has consumed him...it has deprived him of his sanity.
