Convicted defendants left

Justice Department officials have known for years that flawed forensic work might have led to the convictions of potentially innocent people nationwide, but prosecutors failed to notify defendants or their attorneys even in many cases they knew were troubled.

Officials started reviewing the cases in the 1990s after reports that sloppy work by examiners at the FBI lab was producing unreliable forensic evidence in court trials. Instead of releasing those findings, they made them available only to the prosecutors in the affected cases, according to documents and interviews with dozens of officials.

In addition, the Justice Department reviewed only a limited number of cases and focused on the work of one scientist at the FBI lab, despite warnings that problems were far more widespread and could affect potentially thousands of cases in federal, state and local courts.

This just continues to show that we must hold the DA, Police, Judges, etc, personally accountable for their actions. If the Justice Department, the FBI and Prosecutors are not held to account then they will continue to make a mockery of justice. No more of this, well you work for government so you are untouchable.

We may be at the point where we will have to start over.

Yeah, I saw that article yesterday and it is just sickening. I guess the FEDs did their part by telling their client, the prosecutors, what was up.

Sadly prosecutors are so corrupt and evil as a general rule, they can not be trusted to obey the law.

Justice Department officials said that they met their legal and constitutional obligations when they learned of specific errors, that they alerted prosecutors and were not required to inform defendants directly.

Seems to violate the right of discovery, doesn't it? Leaves it open to doing it on purpose: Cook the lab work for the trial and send a memo to the prosecutor later, when he's got little incentive to humiliate himself by doing anything about it.

Then who wants to do the extra work of finding the real criminal?

Yeah they did their part, screwed over another citizen.

I think I would add to the corrupt list many in the FBI and Justice Department. The whole lot should be in jail.

Well you know that the real criminal will just do another crime and get caught for that new crime anyway./s

Notice the year the report was issued ,2004. That was an election year.

The Clinton DoJ put this together as part of Hillary's dirty tricks campaign to recreate Rodney King type race riots and get her into the WH.

The same thing, R King type race riots, is being done right now with Trayvon.

I assure you the Clinton's are not turning this over for Zippo to use and get his scrawny ass back into the WH.

This is coming from Hillary's dirty tricks campaign.

Hillary's dirty tricks campaign planned to drag this out in 2007 but her plan got derailed.

In November 2006 Leaky Leahy started a congressional investigation into Bush's firing of the 8 or 9 US Attorneys alleging they were fired as some kind of cover up.

IIRC it was Sharon Eubanks with CREW that claimed there were problems in the civil rights division at DoJ and that was why the USA’s were fired. Leaky jumped on the bandwagon.

Al Sharpton was busy ginning up civil unrest with the Jenna “6” BS and the phony “Noose” campaign.

They had gone after Don Imas and his comments as a “war on women”.

Sound familiar?

We've got an exact repeat of Hillary's dirty tricks from 2007 taking place right now right before our eyes.

On top of everything going down right now we have talk circulating of Hillary replacing Plugs as VP.

Get Hillary to replace Plugs as VP.

Get Zippo declared ineligible.

Massive race riots occur in every city.

Rioters team up with foreign terrorist.

Terrorist attacks are act of war so Federal troops are sent in.

Hillary becomes president with basically dictatorial powers.

The left has always known they could get power without violence, but they couldn't keep power without violence.

If they do it right the military will be on their side because the military will be brought in to fight against foreign terrorist that are attacking the country.

They will follow orders and not ask questions when terrorist are attacking the country.

If foreign terrorist team up with the rioters and are attacking this country killing American citizens, the military will respond to stop the violence if ordered to do so.

The ones that wouldn't follow orders under these circumstances are the ones you need to be afraid of.

Terrorists will not be teaming up with rioters. Terrorists will make a strike and retreat to make another somewhere else. The rioters will just show up for spoils afterwards.

As I said the rioters will show up after the attack. The terrorists, which include the NOI and NBP, will strike and then leave for a different place to strike. The rioters will not be the terrorists just the dupes to be killed for a little bad publicity.

Alas, this important thread has been hijacked by morons.

If Mark Levin weren't a total phony, he'd do three hours on this tonight. I'll bet he doesn't do three seconds. He probably does care, but cares more about keeping the $$$ rolling in by never criticizing anyone in law enforcement.

Barry’s community organizers are running training sessions euphemistically called ‘flash mobbing’, preparing the cannon fodder for the planned chaos and mayhem when Holder issues the commands to ‘let the party begin’. BLOAT
