” ... do you think little kids having tantrums should always be arrested?”

I think her behavior went way beyond a “tantrum.” But, I am not certain that she should be arrested and criminally charged. However, she needed to be removed from the principal’s office so that she would no longer destroy property and endanger others and potentially herself. The time out or quiet rooms have been phased out in Georgia schools, so there are two choices: her parents’ custody or jail.

OK, this is exactly what should have happened after she knocked over the bookcase.

Call her mother—go find her mother—and have Mom remove her from school. That’s it. A parent’s responsibility.

Something similar happened with my son, once. I came and got him. It’s my job to punish him anyway, certainly not the police.

I mean, come on people, she’s six, for cryin’ out loud! There’s a huge difference between a six year old having a tantrum, even knocking stuff over, and Kelbold and Harris...

And thinking about that, those cops in Colorado were sure a lot more demure about taking down those two (while they were still killing their victims) than the cops in Georgia taking on a “vicious” six year old.

Stupidity is an epidemic in this country. So is an out of control legal system and political correctness. Still, Lawyers and PC would not have such an affect on us if the whole damn country wasn’t becoming so damn stupid! #$@$@#$@&^!!!!!!
