WASHINGTON — Efforts to ban racial profiling by authorities got a small boost Tuesday when a U.S. Senate subcommittee highlighted the issue during a broad hearing that touched on topics ranging from illegal immigration to the Trayvon Martin case.
Central to each discussion were concerns that average citizens are targeted by police or others because of their background. Lawmakers repeatedly cited the Trayvon shooting. Trayvon's family and their supporters contend that Neighborhood Watch volunteer George Zimmerman followed the black teenager, whom he ultimately shot, because of his skin color.
"He [Trayvon] was profiled, followed, chased and murdered. This case has captured international attention and will go down in history as a textbook example of racial profiling," said U.S. Rep. Frederica Wilson, D-Miami, who appeared as a witness at the hearing.

Floridians are rather weak when it comes to dealing with low-IQ “Amish.” Hence their love of bussing black kids in every school district and hiring Amish mouth-breathers as teachers. Sat what you will about NY and NJ, but we use our zoning laws well and keep our distance.

Well the average iq in American blacks is 85 so yes you’d think it would have been possible. But just like with Marion Berry getting elected time and time again, blacks think they’re sticking it to us when they saddle themselves with these corrupt imbeciles.

I didn’t realise that Jefferson was still walking around a free man (ongoing appeal, I believe) until it was mentioned on some New Orleans talk radio show. Sickening. I still haven’t gotten over Sandy Burglar walking free after stuffing documents down his pants and acting like it was some endearing prank.
Trayvon was criminally profiled not racially profiled. Big difference.
Because young black males had been the perps in previous break ins, because young black males are the highest demographic for crime in the USA, because Trayvon acted like he was casing the apartments, and because Zimmerman was a neighborhood watch member, he was profiled as suspicious.
It was no more racial profiling than to suspect only males when a woman is raped is gender profiling.
