Syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer advises presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney to counter Obama's negative campaign with a negative campaign of his own.
"Negative campaigns can work, and we're getting a taste of it right now. I think Romney's strategy should be to embrace that negativity. Just go for it and point out -- go back to it and point out how it's a sign of scurrilousness and hypocrisy," Krauthammer said on FOX News' "O'Reilly Factor."
"Look at the mean that Democrats have put out from top to bottom. Republicans, Romney, the war on women, a concocted idea. War on immigrants, we hear from that one. War on blacks. And It's also class warfare, the war on the middle class. You know, comforting the rich and making sure they don't pay their fair share," Charles Krauthammer said tonight.

Mortgage deductions on 2nd homes is small taters with the interest rates so low. It’s fine by me if people want second homes, but I don’t see how denying them a deduction is warfare. Sounds more like tax simplification. If someone needs that deduction, maybe he ought to rethink borrowing to buy a second home...

And the problem with that is what exactly ?
Considering a second home can be anything from a house to a mansion to a boat or an RV, why should the taxpayer subsidize anyone buying something like that ?
Big deal - ‘rats have been running on these lies for fifty years - Republicans stand for the rich and don’t care about the poor, the old, and children - they hate Jews, blacks and homosexuals - they’re stupid, prejudiced, and anti-science - and on and on -the only real news is that after fifty years of this stuff Republicans haven’t gotten together for a couple of days in a retreat somewhere and come up with a bunch of effective and immediate replies to put the lefties in their place as soon as the BS starts to fly.....
Charles is just another pundit that's a day late and a dollar short.
