lacks discernment to become THE leader of the Free world...

So does everybody who doesn't believe exactly what I believe.

...is vulnerable to deception because of his life-long major gullibility bents...

Yes, many gullible people cling to the religion they were taught as children. Doesn't disqualify them as politicians.

...is arrogant & prideful to the max -- that he thinks he is a "god in embryo" on his way to running his own world as a future grown-up "god"...

And those smug "once saved always saved" Calvinists should be ruled out, too, tight?

...is racist for not objecting the first 13 years of his adult life the open racist doctrines & policies of his church, which he gave 10% of his income to...

Weak. Very weak. Pre-teens don't bear responsibility for the faith they are taught.

...disses his very base of his party by embracing the "faith of his fathers" -- a "faith" that labels us Christians as "corrupt" "apostates" who embrace 100% abominable (putrid) creeds [Note: If the Republicans nominated a Muslim, I'd call out the Muslim in this same way for his faith calling us Christians "infidels"]

And every Protestant "disses" the true faith of the Catholics.

I hope you find the pure guy who believes in everything you believe in.

Never said it disqualifies them "as politicians"...DON'T put words in my mouth.

Difference 'tween your local dog-catcher and somebody wanting to be THE leader of the free world.

And those smug "once saved always saved" Calvinists should be ruled out, too, tight?

Well, I don't agree with that view, either...but salvation assurance -- or "smugness" as you put it -- 'tis not the same as the utter gall of claiming you're divine.

Otherwise, if Obama claimed he was Messiah II, you'd be out defending him on every thread over that hypothetical "religious revelation," eh? (Like that would happen)

Weak. Very weak. Pre-teens don't bear responsibility for the faith they are taught.

(Your response to first 13 years of ADULT life comment...what? Did the word "adult" throw you?...I said ADULT life...Romney was 31 when Spring rolled around in 1978...when the Mormons still were hanging onto those doctrines & practices)

And every Protestant "disses" the true faith of the Catholics.

They do? Prove it...Where's the OFFICIAL Protestant doctrines & the OFFICIAL Protestant "Scriptures" that specifically names the Roman Catholic church on this?

Me? I can point to OFFICIAL Mormon "scriptures" that specifically names Christian sects (see Pearl of Great Price, Joseph Smith History -- vv. 18-19) -- verses that represent the highest "revelation" of the Mormon church. You? You can only derive mere opinions of leaders who don't represent all of Protestantism.

I hope you find the pure guy who believes in everything you believe in.

Except in one election (& it wasn't Ross Perot), I've yet to withhold voting for the GoP POTUS candidate since turning of voting age...yet with all of them, I've disagreed with something significant...some more than others.

So you're just tossing out a straw man here...a foundationless accusation that I see a lot of FREEPERS toss out about complete strangers.

If Romney gets the nomination, this will be quite a departure in moving away from voting GoP. (I'll vote third-party; leave the GoP; and encourage others to go Independent as well)

I don't vote for pro-aborts...(like romney)
I don't vote for socialistic healthcare pioneers (like Romney...somebody who actually outliberalized & outpioneered Hillary on this front)
I don't vote for 75% liberal judge-appointers (like Romney)
I don't vote for somebody who advocates that homosexual employees should be accorded minority status (like Romney)
And I won't financially or promotionally support a party that has a tent so big it no longer stands for anything, anymore...

You're welcome to your pro-abort, pro-socialistic, pro liberal judges, etc. league that you're joining.

A Romney nomination = I'm done with the GoP.
