Davis MUST be purged from the list of Rush subs... there are plenty more good conservatives out there who could take over the EIB Golden Microphone for Rush.
Davis and his mouth full of hot soup delivery are unlistenable.
Unfortunately, today with Mr. Limbaugh himself wasn’t much better. Between the spoken-word commercials for Heritage, identity theft protection and - wait for it - a beverage purchased via mail order (is one supposed to preserve one’s thirst for the 2-5 business days spent waiting for the beverage? If so, how?), there is precious little time left for the actual show.
Rush at his best IS the best which is why we are on this thread. But on the day before a holiday Rush already has one foot out the door and the shows reflect that. Trim away ads, pregnant pauses, self-congratulatory blather, teasers and those maddening, pointless and flat-out rude one-on-none conversations with Snerdley and we are left with one hour and twelve minutes (actually 1:11:46) of content - which is less than 40% of the 3 hours allotted.
Given his recent lament about his iPhone, the term ‘phoning it in’ is rather timely.
