the CPC immediately denounced him and denied it has connections with the Communist Party USA, Democratic Socialists of America or any other socialist group.

Prove it. Take one single position they don't wholeheartedly agree with. I dare ya.

Tea Party favorite Rep. Allen West, R-Fla., isn’t backing down from comments he made at a fundraiser two weeks ago calling members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, including former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, “communists.” In fact, he’s coming out swinging.

When you're right, and it's obvious that you're right, and being right infuriates and disorders your opponents, why, I guess "coming out swinging" makes a lot of sense.

This is good as far as it goes, but West needs to get into specifics of *how* the communists are following communist doctrines, so that no matter how they pretend otherwise, they *are* communists.

Just state succinctly 10 communist agenda items, then state, “When these people involve themselves in these subjects in *any* way, they are not doing it for America, but for communism. It is ‘their cause’. And when they speak of ‘the cause’, what they mean is communism.”

They didn’t like being exposed. It shows. They got very defensive instead of laughing it off.

How about that - a republican who doesn't apologize for speaking the truth.

On the other hand, we can pretty much count Mr West out of the VP sweepstakes - I'm sure he's giving the GOP the vapors.

West continued. “Now I would hope maybe you in media would do a little bit of research and look at political ideologies and what they stand for.”>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

THATS a Good hit!

But Obama is much worse than any progressive could dream. Obama plays progressives like a communal fiddle.

Good read:

I am sure there are a few of the old line yellow dogs left in America, but there is no doubt that Obumbo is a Communist, and
the devout Marxist have decided to make the Dimocrap party
into a viable version of the CPUSA.

If true Americans can not regain control of education and the media, America will be history.
An entire generation has already been lost to the so called progressive (Communist left) movement.

Not all of the Congressional and White House RATs are “democratic socialists”.

Many of them are National Socialists.

Well, they (Dims, lefties, idiots all) call themselves 'progressives' - which is just another name for Communists.

They continually chase after the PUBLISHED goals of Communism (Read into the Congressional Record on Jan. 10, 1963) and published long ago in a book called The Naked Communist - (written in 1958) - all of which can be read at THIS LINK.

He’s only part right. There are 112 other Communists in the House who just call themselves “democrats”, and an additional, more elusive number who call themselves “republicans”.

If I may be allowed to repeat myself, anybody claiming to be shocked, shocked that West dares to accuse anybody in the House to be in league with the DSA, is lying. NB that when the list of the DSA was made public (in 2004), the page was quickly scrubbed.

“Surprise! Nancy Pelosi is really, and officially, a self-confessed Socialist!”

And here is the list via “the internet wayback machine”. (From that page: “At one time, the following list of members could be located on the DSA web site. However, Once this list was made public, The DSA removed the link to the Web page that listed the following members.”)

I agree with the Colonel, at least insofar as current progressive political doctrine has incorporated what used to be consider the signal characteristics of Communism: the notion that political power properly resides in class, class definitions breaking down now only economically (Marx) but along the lines of race, sex, and sexual preference (Frankfurt school). That it is the function of government to remediate economic equality between classes, that violence is a legitimate political tool, that law is a means of maintaining a power relationship between classes and managing social justice through unequal application. That rights are granted by the state and may be taken away in the name of social control. That historical direction is known in advance and that it is the function of politics to keep society on that path and disempower those who would deviate from it. That it is the function of political parties to act as a cadre for the leadership of the masses.

These are fundamental principles of Communism. With no more than half a dozen euphemisms they are the foundations of contemporary progressivism as well. These principles used to be whispered guiltily; now they are proclaimed loudly in the highest offices of the land. West is absolutely right.
