Good News: Romney Knows the Media's Out to Destroy Him
Breitbart ^ | April 18, 2012 | John Nolte

Republicans should rejoice. When it comes to understanding the threat of the media, in a news-making interview with our own Larry O'Connor yesterday, Governor Mitt Romney proved he is no John McCain.

Whether the story is true or not, I don't know, but sometime during the 2008 election, someone told me that our candidate, John McCain, said something to the effect of, "All these relationships I've made in the media are really going to pay off now."

“It is working.”

I don’t think it is working at all, because Romney is not likeable nor believable.

Obama is really, really unpopular, and the public is hurting economically. People are hesitant to be too negative about the POTUS, for fear of appearing racist.

But the truth is a conservative who isn’t driven down by the media or GOP-e should do much better than Mitt Romney. We have four months until the convention in Tampa. It should be interesting - I’m hopeing for a nail-biter!

Obama is a communist and Romney is a fascist. That’s not a choice!

Maybe she just wasn’t that bright.

Many people confuse shrewdness, like ability, and intelligence.

IMO, SP was as follows:

Shrewdness - 0%
Like ability - 50% (considering political makeup of the land)
Intelligence - maybe a 120 or therebouts on the IQ scale, bright, but not in MR & BHO land.

BHO & MR are smart guys, and they are shrewd and somehow maintain like ability.

I believe you can grow intelligence in a person who may not be as intelligent when initially noticed. Sarah grew, but not before the media completely annihilated her character in public.

In some ways, this has been the best for SP. She now has no constraints over going after obscene profits, vs. the headache of running this country. Yes, she had executive experience in Alaska, but she quit early under pressure AND Alaska is not exactly the political zoo the east and west coast states normally contain. I literally don’t think she could have handled the job.

Honestly at this point, it would be better if BHO had Damascus Road conversion to capitalism, lazze faire economics, & Christianity.

Romney can lay much of the blame for it himself with giving the press a buffet of goods to attack him with.

I’m not being facetious, but ‘fascist’ is thrown around very lightly. What’s your definition?

Just the same, we better get as many Tea Partiers as possible elected to Congress.

Well, if he would do it to that man... but he won’t. Because he’s like all the rest of them. An ethnomasochist. And if he DID, well then those that are saying he’s no better than the dog eater would have their argument strengthened.

Romney proved in the Primaries that he is not above doing anything to win. He has, or will have, the money to wage a fromidable campaign. And, he has 6 million Mormon foot soldiers ready to mobilize. He wants this so badly; more than anyone can imagine. I guarantee you the “gentle” Mormon will be Barack Obama’s worst nightmare. He has planned and schemed to occupy the White House for 6 years. And the small percentage of the small number of FReepers (compared to 350 million Americans) who will not vote for Romney, is only a drop in the bucket. Our rebellion against RINO-Rom will not make one iota of a difference. He damn well can win this thing. Don’t count him out.

I was thinking Dubai Ports and Harriet Myers, and I wasn’t saying CONGRESS led him away, I was saying WE THE PEOPLE were able to put enough pressure on to stop it.

He has planned and schemed to occupy the White House for 65 years, helped at first by his ambitious father George who groomed young Williard from the cradle for this moment...

WE THE PEOPLE sure were influential on him weren't we? I'm sure glad Congress didn't put the AWB bill on his desk. W did keep his promises.

Romney doesn't BTW.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for ‘splaining it all so well....May the Good Lord Bless You....

Of course, it has to be Mr. Newt or, as you put it so well, “THE BEST, Newt.”

Unfortufortunately, it does seem to be over and that Romney kid will very likely be the nominee and will be one of the only two real choices we have in November. Romney vs ZERO, the POS Chosen One. What those of us need to do now is figger a way to shrink Mr. Newt and get him into that Romney Kid’s brain close to Broca’s area. Failing this, we inject Romney with Serum of Newt....Any additional ideas would be welcome. If there are none, and none and none then, for me, sadly, it’s still ABO.

Until then, enjoy the 199.3 days remaining and remember that if he is reelected Zero will be coming after all our precious puppies with a knife and fork.

Oh, please - there aren't any do-overs. They should have supported Newt and voted for him. He is the ONLY one ready, willing and capable of undoing the damage the ugly one did. So now they can taint themselves and have the real threat of getting obama anyway.

Surprising as it might be, I do indeed deeply regret that Mr. Newt is not now the presumptive nominee. Unfortunately, as a resident of the PRNJ, I will probably not even have the opportunity to vote for him in June. The news today is that he is closing offices and the campaign suspension announcement may not be far off.

That said, I will be damned if I throw my anti-Obama vote away or fail to cast it because we have a nominee who isn’t Mr. Newt.....so ABO still holds.

and for God’s sake, get a proper screen name already!!
