Matt Damon would ‘kiss George W. Bush on the mouth’ for work on AIDS("three seconds. No tongue.")

Actor and activist Matt Damon, not typically a Republican supporter, this week gushed over former President George W. Bush's work fighting AIDS in Africa, saying it made him want to kiss the Texan “on the mouth.”

Damon, a foreign aid activist who co-founded the nongovernmental organization Water.org, had high praise for the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), a commitment by the United States to spend $15 billion over five years fighting HIV/AIDS that Bush signed into law.

“I would kiss George W. Bush on the mouth for what he did on PEPFAR,” Damon told The Atlantic in an interview published Wednesday night. “[For] three seconds. No tongue.”

Well, I think it’s great to see W finally get some credit for this.

I’m seeing a lot of main-stream inurendo about man on man love these days. The number of movies showing male butt-crack is way up, and frankly it’s something I find highly offensive.

Frankly, I’m not interested in seeing another man’s privates, and it’s about as far from entertaining as it can get.

That and male on male kissing, gross me out.

The degeneracy of the media these days knows no limit whatsoever.

Howard Stern on ‘America Has Talent’?

Count me out.

I don’t. We should never have given tens of billions of dollars to the effort. It wasn’t our government’s money to give in the first place.

“What? Thirty billion..., sure... here you go.”

The White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner is an event at which it is supposedly acceptable and considered in good taste for a sitting president to make an ass out of himself for the bemusement of the media elite of the so-called “press”. It is somewhat like a president or presidential candidate hosting Saturday Night Live, except this event is not for the little people. Unfortunately, the current president has not reserved his ass-like behavior to these type of events.

It’s so tempting to make a snide remark, given the rumors that have circulated about Damon.

Fair enough -- a perfectly defensible position. In fact, I agree. Bush's program actually accomplished what liberals only talked about and a liberal has acknowledged it. That was really my point.

I didn't intend to imply approval.

Some Hollywood guys are way too comfortable making homo insinuations about themselves.

“I think a hearty handshake and a sincere “Thank you!” would be sufficient.”

The formal gesture is a laurel and a hearty handshake.

No doubt Matt Damon is a lib idiot, but I did see him asked about Team America in some interview and he seemed to have a good sense of humor about it. So I had to like him for that, I’m not sure I’d react the same way.

He dissed Obama and says good things about Bushitler. I guess he strives to be even-handed which is more than many people (on both sides) will do. A tad more of that, esp. from the Left would go a long way.

I wasn’t trying to give you a hard time, even though it sounded like it. I just get tired of our leaders (whichever side of the isle) acting like tens of billions is nothing more than pocket change.

Re GWB Damon “kiss on the mouth for AIDS work”

When a Hollywood actor says something like that, I wonder what he’d do for someone like Obama whom he really supports.

I’m not a fan of this punchbowl turd or his fellow Cambridge “homey” Ben Asslick. They’re both overrated leftists.

I refuse to watch “Good Will Hunting” or any of the “Bourne” movies.

That was a pre written joke for the Correspondence dinner. It is where the President traditionally does their version of a roast. It wasn’t petty, it was funny.
