That wont save you.

I have personally received several multiple paged faxed medical documents.

I dutifully call the originator, and ask to speak to a supervisor, to report the careless incident.
I doubt very much they care, based on tone of voice I hear.

I routinely shred those documents, and curse the waste of my paper and time.

Next time it happens, I will contact the individual patient involved, and ask them and/or their lawyer to please come and retrieve the documents.

lol That happens quite a lot. It sucks worst when some server does it, because it will continue to fax until someone finds it and intervenes. Most of the time a call comes in from someone complaining about getting faxes, or calls from a fax machine....all day, tying up their phone line.
