To: Only Sane Man

That article said absolutely nothing at all.

So, he decides he was wrong “in retrospect”, and that is just as sound as his original work. This without any explanation.

Gee. Did that article have just a whiff of objectivity to it or not?

So. On what basis is this article an “integrity test” that true conservatives might or might not object to?

Sounds very similar to the American Psychological Association’s (at least I think it was that body) decision to remove homosexuality from its list of disorders. No new studies or evidence to contradict anything that had been learned. Basically it was a show of hands (by mailed postcard) whether or not to do it, and of the substantial minority who bothered to respond, the majority of those voted to drop it from the list.
