I've heard it pronounced both pew-allup and poo-yallup. It's derived from an Indian name so I'm not sure that the English pronunciation is firmly etched in stone.

Most people here seem to pronounce it pew allup. Not sure what the Indian pronunciation is.

Proper pronunciation is pyoo-al-up (that’s “al” as in Alan, not as in all). I lived down the road from there for a number of years; got to hear it pronounced many times!
