A good day Kathy & hope your errands went well. *Hugs*

A nice commute....the bunny population is exploding & I love watching the cute lil cottontails.

A nice hat indeed...I'm the "whitest" girl in AZland! No tan at all... :)

HASENPFEFFER!!!

Nos genuflectitur ad non princeps sed Princeps Pacem!

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

What a day! I only worked 2 hours, but GOOD GRIEF!! I was a bit late cuz I had to clear what I was working on, but the timing getting to the blood draw place was flexible. It was sorta funny.

My Mom can’t see well enough to fill out paperwork, so as I filled it out for her, my Dad was working on his and not hearing the lady’s question. Got both squared away, their blood work done by the nicest lady.

Then trouble as they worked on getting back into the car. My Mom’s knees buckled as she was partially on the running board. My Dad hasn’t the strength to help, so I rushed around. Got her lowered to the ground, rested a few minutes, and worked together to get her up and finally in the car. She pretty much only goes out to get her hair cut, but I think I’m going to have to think seriously about maybe a mini-van...the suburban is just too hard to get into. My Dad is tall enough to sit on the edge of the seat and work at getting his legs in....not so for my Mom. Then off to the DMV to get a state ID card for her so we could get her signature notarized (we tried yesterday to no avail as her driver’s license was expired).

I had to help her out of the car and into the DMV...very crowded, but got good seats for them while I found the proper paperwork and got it filled out. I was able to talk to the lady calling “next” and explain the mobility issue and that we would wait past our turn to get the station closest to the picture taking station.

Exited with a brand spanking new ID card. Now off to drop a bag of stuff off at one of their friends.

Then to the credit union to get her signature notarized. Another getting out of and into the car, but with help we managed. She said, I’m ready to go home! Got everything done on their list, but she wants to stay home, and was already feeling the effects of the “fall”. I will pick up their test results when ready.
