(CNN) -- Rocker and avid hunter Ted Nugent has agreed to pay a fine, serve probation and record a public service announcement as part of a deal to plead guilty to transporting an illegally killed black bear in Alaska, according to court documents. The plea deal, filed Friday in U.S. District Court in Anchorage, Alaska, stems from federal allegations that arose during a bear hunt in May 2009 that was filmed for Nugent's television show, "Spirit of the Wild," on the Outdoor Channel. News of the plea deal broke a day after Nugent was questioned and cleared by the Secret Service over comments he made at an annual meeting of the National Rifle Association where he said he would be "dead or in jail" if President Barack Obama were re-elected.

They are making him a hero.
Pray for America
You know, when lib biased networks hate you, it’s amazing the research and effort they will go through to trash you.
I remember them digging through Sarah Palin’s garbage, and all the while Obama’s pal Rezko was guilty of SO much, but they couldn’t even be bothered to waltz down to the courthouse and rake through THAT muck.
They are slime.
I call bullshit. No “coincidence” here now is there?
Did you really think that we want those laws to be observed? said Dr. Ferris. We want them broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against, then you'll know that this is not the age for beautiful gestures. We're after power and we mean it.
You fellows were pikers, but we know the real trick, and you'd better get wise to it. There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone?

So this is why he thought he’d be dead or in jail?
Ted is gettin’ schooled real good this week by the Feddy Boyz....
First they came for Gibson Guitar,
and I didn’t speak out because I owned a Fender.
Then they came for Ted Nugent,
and I didn’t speak out because I was a KISS fan,
Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for me.
Then they came for Ted Nugent,
And they came after both of them with some dumbass BS called the "Lacey Act of 1900". It sounds to me like it's time to get rid of the "Lacey Act of 1900". Obviously, Lacey has outlived his usefulness.
Would be interested in a timeline for these charges.
More recently it as been used/ruled that any game taken in violation of state law and moved across state lines is covered because it is in commerce.
Just more widening of the so called commerce act.
“First they came for Gibson Guitar,”
“Then they came for Ted Nugent,”
Then thy came for the Catholic Church,
Then they came for the TEA party...
See my tagline.
You never want to pi$$ off a guy that has his ammo delivered on a pallet. Seriously, from his book “Ted, White & Blue. The Nugent Manifesto”.
So the left says “The Tea Party is dead”,IRRELEVANT, and AstroTurf.....Then they pick a fight with the one guy that can rally the tea party base with one press conference?
IF I was uncle Ted...I would wait this out...then come OCT take the flag climb the hill and rally the base with a commanding “Patriots, mount up” followed by “Autobots, roll out to the ballot box”...LOL
The Lacey Act violation seems a stretch to me, but I also have a hard time believing that no one knew the state law.
I watched the Beck interview with Nugent. Nugent said the judge in the case didn’t know of this law. I believe Nugent. And I am not a big fan of his music when he was younger.
The 0bots are after even Nugent’s friends...to get to him.
The Nuge should have used the Uncle Jimbo tactic of shouting at the top of his lungs, “IT’S COMIN’ RIGHT FOR US!!!”
(That’s what I’d have done)
