Egypt informed Israel Sunday afternoon that it is unilaterally cancelling the agreement of supply of gas to Israel. The announcement was made to EMG, the firm that receives the gas from Egypt, and reported on Channel 2 news.

The peace treaty with Egypt includes a financial appendix, in which Egypt agrees to supply Israel with oil. Several years ago the appendix was changed so that the oil was replaced by gas. The treaty commits Egypt to supply Israel with the amount of gas it requires for a specified period, in exchange for payment.

If Egypt wants to renege on the peace treaty, then might as well take back the whole Sinai again.

Never sign a treaty with an Arab country. They make treaties signed with Nazis seem more likely of holding up.

So, as long as we continue to give them aid, apparently Egypt doesn’t need Israel’s gas money. What if we reciprocated and simply said to Egypt that if they don’t honor this deal, we cut off all aid?

—Ask an American indian about treaties.—

I would like nothing better than to abolish all indian reservations, but we have honored those treaties to this day.

He is a true friend of the Moslem brotherhood. Such a failure of policy or intentional design by Obama when he went to Egypt to give his famous Egyptian spring speech. Who does Obama work for?

Nothing like that will happen until we get another administration in D.C. that is dedicated to defending the western world against Islamofacism.

The current administration seeems to more interested in helping America’s enemeis.

Israel was warned by many at the time of the Sinai agreement not to enter into it. Those who did not want this agreement warned simply that those who signed it might be deposed or murdered.

The argument for the agreement was that Israel needed peace and a rest from war. Begin is revered by many in Israel for bringing this fragile peace however long it has or will last. I sympathize with both points of view. I do not have a child in the military there and cannot imagine having watch him go off to a war. On the other hand, such a war would be probable, given the violent and irrational nature of Israel’s enemies in Egypt.

Personally, I would have preferred that Israel had annexed all the land it conquered in ‘67 and let the Islamic countries deal with it in whatever way at that time. Better to deal with ones enemies from strength, IMHO.

Were I elected King like obammy, first thing I’d do is eliminate the Bureau of Indian Affairs, along with about 70 percent of all the other gub mint agencies. Cause they and their employees are f-ing worthless.

Ask an American indian about treaties.

if you would like to experience the total failure of a communistic form of government, visit an Indian reservation. Abject poverty, laziness, alcoholism in epidemic proportions, government housing etc. etc.. Government checks arrive for the inhabitants and no work needs to be done to live. All Indian treaties should be abolished, reservations should be assimilated by their home states, and the Indian population mainstreamed into society. The sooner this is done, the better it will be for ALL concerned.

Congress won't be providing any more foreign aid to Egypt, and Obamy will have to go along because it's an election year.

IMHO Israel should now make it their number one priority as a nation to develop their Natural Gas resources that are off shore.

With rumors of shale oil in the Golan Heights, perhaps our Fracking Technologies can help their as well.

Then they can tell the Bortherhood to go Frack themselves...
