Indeed. I'm sure it helps that everyone from the governor on down knows they're dealing with the son of a retired judge. If anything unfortunate should befall George, they'll never see the end of the lawsuits.

I'll bet there have already been back-channel messages flowing, about family members meeting with big-name attorneys.

I doubt anyone in the Florida government gives a rat’s rear about Zimmerman’s father, who was not a judge:
