Why do the enviro-wackos worship the earth? Is is because they deny the existence of God? Because the God of the Bible, gave man dominion over the birds of skies and beasts in the fields, plus all that plant and mineral matter.

Naw, its because they have a relentless drive to control you and your private property. You can’t exercise your property rights because everywhere you turn, there is various forms of government telling you, you can’t. Its the most perfect scam of all because they want you to feel guilty about everything. Guilty about driving a SUV, having a big house, or using too much TP. Think about it. Endless busybodies, endless prodding and poking, pushing, and shoving. Then they take your choices away. Where are going to get your incandescent light bulbs. Contraband snuck in from Mexico on the backs of the illegals?

Well written. Just the right mix of humor and profundity. A little anthro-centric for my taste but a strong declaration of Man’s place on the planet.

They all wanna hug trees naked and dance in the rain while pointing their fingers at us for burning coal, cutting down the forests yet they destroy the most precious life. That of innocent children in their mothers womb. Disgusting filth. One day, when the system crashes, and they storm your fields, farms, the land you own, begging you for hand outs, enjoy shooting the ones who become violent. For that is what they have reaped.

To know the tree as tree and take delight in it. It seems to be a good starting point.

If one asks why this is, then one gets to the heart of the matter, for knowing is a prerequisite to loving.

And with a little bit of help from Revelation, one can know more, and love more. He Who Is, Who made all, in Whose Image we are made.

This is like when LBJ declared War on Poverty.

As soon as the program was announced I threw a rock at a beggar.

" ... a relentless drive to control ... "

That IS a rejection of God.

Spiders are born spinning webs, snakes slither away, birds fly and etc., so many of the animal kingdom are instinctively and almost immediately their kind.

We, on the other hand, take about 33 years to mature (not a random number, but one I've analyzed over the years and it's a pretty interesting sermon/message) and we go through extensive training chock full of trial and error, correction, punishment, etc.

It is damned (proper use of word) sure true the desire for power is because God is rejected.

Throwing a "logical" argument on the subject just exascerbates and prolongs the correction(s) that need to occur for us to truly win back our nation .... without a bloody revolution.

We can repent or we will pay ... and it is a choice ... and it is ours.

Earth Day, April 22, 1970:
"The nationwide event included opposition to the Vietnam War on the agenda, but this was thought to detract for the environmental message.
Pete Seeger was a keynote speaker and performer at the event held in Washington DC."

Springsteen's Homage to Pete Seeger
By Tom Moon

World Cafe, April 25, 2006 - On the new collection We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions, Bruce Springsteen honors the folk music tradition that has inspired many of his own compositions over the years. All the tracks on the new album are standards closely associated with folk icon Pete Seeger.

Springsteen assembled large ensemble of acoustic musicians to flavor the proceedings with everything from accordion to tuba. Rock critic Tom Moon talks with host David Dye about why he reacted so strongly and positively towards this latest offering by The Boss.

What fascinates me about nature is the faith-fact that the entire universe was created through Jesus, who “sustains all things by his powerful word.” (Hebrews 1:3)

Paul in Romans declares that the Gentile world stands condemned before God “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.” (Romans 1:20)

Of course this can be rejected, but if it is true then it has huge implications for the naturist/environmentalist obsession with earth. Every tiny observable bit of creation preaches and teaches JESUS and yet they refuse to acknowledge Him.

“He sendeth the springs into the valleys which run amongst the hills
They give drink to every beast of the field, the wild asses quench their thirst.” Psalm 104:10-11. Heck the enviromentalists are in luck, God even looks after asses...nuff said.
