Huntsman compares GOP to Communist Party of China

Posted by CNN Producer Gabriella Schwarz

(CNN) – Former GOP White House contender Jon Huntsman on Monday explained the comparison he made between the Republican Party and Communist Party of China the night before as "waxing philosophical" on the state of politics.

On Sunday night Huntsman equated being disinvited by the Republican Party from a Florida fundraiser in March after he floated the idea of a third party to "what they do in China on party matters if you talk off script," according to political blog BuzzFeed.

On Monday the former Utah governor, who served as U.S. ambassador to China under President Barack Obama, blamed blogs for taking a sentence out of context, but repeated the sentiment.

"Last night I said, you know if you're not on script and you get knocked out of an event like that the party's supposed to be big tent, you're supposed to bring in all ideas and I said, I thought for a moment about what they do in China if you're off script. The party, they knock you out," Huntsman said on MSNBC. "We shouldn't be doing that here. We should be accommodating all voices."

If in some bizarro version of our own timeline, the ChiComs somehow invaded and conquered the mainland United States, you can bet your last bottom 'Continental Resistance' dollar, that when the genocidal heirs of Mao tse Tung looked around the former organs of power in Washington D.C. and said "who among you would be willing to serve as our agent and figurehead and enforce the new economic and political policies of Chairman Mao?", that bottom feeding Huntsman would be the first one jumping up like a know-it-all kid in 2nd grade screaming:

ME! ME! Pick ME!!!

He would sabotage any opportunity with his smarmy and self-righteous nature. I do think he should have a go as a Macy’s Christmas elf.

Romney’s secretary of state?

It could happen. Would he count as the token Cabinet Democrat? I don't see him having trouble with Senate confirmation. He and Newt had a pretty good foreign policy debate.

What’s funny is that he’s right - but not for the reason he thinks.

the GOP does resemble the CP in China due to its willingness to disregard the will of the majority of party members, and continue to foist off an unpopular candidate that only the GOP-E really likes. But then again, only the GOP-E really matters - which is what makes the GOP a lot like the crepuscular CP.

The irony is that Huntsman himself is a part, or was, of that GOP-E that makes the GOP so unresponsive and brittle.

Huntsman should know all about the communist party, he walked around enjoying China's communist leaders, lived and worked in China, was appointed by the current communist in the WH, all the while, with his head stuck up Mao’s arse because he had stopped too suddenly for Huntsman!!

Kind of like the fox telling on another fox for raiding the chicken coop!
