Just in case my fellow fuddy-duddies missed this.. Obama knows that us geezers will be hit with the realization in OCTOBER 2012 (Surprise!) that the very popular Medicare Advantage Plan is GONE! So a few shenanigans have been ordered. Without approval of the Congress Obama can order "experiments" vis-a-vis health care services. One is to extend the Advantage Plan long enough so the seniors will not have to be notified that it is GONE until after election 2012.

An $8 billion trick?

"A Government Accounting Office report released this morning shows, quite starkly, that there simply is no experiment being conducted, just money being spent. Understandably, the GAO recommends that HHS cancel the project.

"Congress should immediately launch an investigation into this unprecedented misuse of taxpayer money and violation of the public trust, which certainly presses the boundaries of legality and very well may breach them.

"If he’s not stopped, Obama will spend $8 billion in taxpayer funds for a scheme to mask the debilitating effects on seniors of his signature piece of legislation just long enough to get himself re-elected." [End quotes]

I just heard an ex-military guy tell Groucho that his search for a civilian job was a little frustrating because potential employers told him that they appreciate his service but they don't need someone with his violent background.. I swear that's what he said.

He was not angry or upset or anything like that and he is now employed. He mentioned one company by name -- I guess he had applied for a corporate job, I do know. The company was Dominos.
