Weeping four-year-old girl [falsely] accused of carrying a GUN by TSA officers

Full title: Weeping four-year-old girl accused of carrying a GUN by TSA officers after she hugged her grandmother while passing through security

A four-year-old girl was apparently subjected to a humiliating ordeal after she hugged her grandmother while she was waiting in line.

The girl was accused of having a gun and declared a 'high security threat', while agents threatened to shut down the whole airport if she could not be calmed down.

Terror threat? Four-year-old Isabella was subjected to a full body pat-down and accused of carrying a gun in an airport

In her terror, Isabella tried to run away rather than face a full body pat-down, which unsurprisingly enraged the TSA officers further.

One officer even told the girl's mother that the airport would have to be shut down and every flight cancelled if the four-year-old did not co-operate.

They also apparently described the little girl as a 'high security threat'.

Ms Brademeyer continued: 'The TSO loomed over my daughter, with an angry grimace on her face, and ordered her to stop crying.

'When my scared child could not do so, two TSOs called for backup saying, "The suspect is not cooperating." The suspect, of course, being a frightened child. They treated my daughter no better than if she had been a terrorist.'

What about little kids who have been molested and they’re in therapy. They get to the airport and get molested again. Where are you, Dr. Drew?

Two votes I regret. One for mccain and one for Bush.

I stopped flying. Actually gave up almost $400 in ticket credit that I didn’t use. I wish everyone would stop flying for just one week in protest.

Corrrection, they treated her worse than a terrorist because anyone matching the terrorist profile is immediately ignored and waved through.

Our first ambassadors, Jay, Franklin, Adams, Jefferson, were repulsed at the sight of bayonet wielding soldiers standing guard at European government buildings.

Hell, in the 1760s-1770s, when the British sent troops to Boston, the locals were so repulsed by their presence that an armed conflict broke out.

For very good reason, one of the chief fears of the Founding Fathers was a standing army; an armed force that intermingled with the civilian population. We have a Third Amendment that specifically prohibits troops from being quartered in private houses without homeowner consent, but what we don't realize is that today's paramilitary police forces have largely become a type of standing army that itself is often at odds with the civilian population. Cops are guilty of using language that solidifies this relationship when they call non-cops "civilians."

Well, it’s a trade off. Little girls get tramatized and humiliated every now and then, but look at how many terrorists have been caught bringing weapons onto planes by the TSA.

Oh yeah, NONE HAVE. NOT ONE, EVER.

It is easy to see that an IQ test is not required to become a TSA agent

Actually one is required. A failing grade is 80 or above.

If that had happened to one of my grandkids I’d probably be in jail right now....

Happened at Wichita, Kansas....

Ms Brademeyer wrote: ‘It was implied, several times, that my mother, in their brief two-second embrace, had passed a handgun to my daughter.’

An officer repeatedly said she had ‘seen a gun in a teddy bear’ in the past, in an apparent attempt to justify the situation....

But their nightmare was not yet over, as on a connecting flight in Denver, an airport employee demanded to know which of the family was Isabella - and ‘looked really confused’ when the girl was pointed out to her.

If the “War On Terror” is over, then WHY do we still have the TSA?

Apparently, we lost.

This is just more proof that the terrorists have won.

Which terrorists ?

In Iraq they are terrorists but in Libya the same terrorists
are called freedom fighters.

As the late Fred Honzberger of KDKA used to say “We have to pretend that we’re not looking for the people that we’re looking for.”

Ditto for me and my daughter.

Everything in our educational system is geared (correctly) toward not letting strangers touch little kids "inappropriately" - until you get to the airport.

Some day these buffoons are going to pick the wrong person, someone who will bear a grudge and has the knowledge and means to inflict harm at all levels of the Gestapo TSA bureaucracy to satisfy it. I fervantly long for that day.*

*Note to jack-booted federal goons: I am not advocating anything above, just eagerly anticipating it from someone else. I shall throw a party that day, though I won't aid and abet any such actions personally. Oh, and while we still have a 1st Amendment (and there are no SS agents in my sight): go phuck yourselves! You've lost all support amongst the population - revel in your role as the occupiers of America, because it won't last long.

"...One officer even told the girl's mother that the airport would have to be shut down and every flight cancelled if the four-year-old did not co-operate."

Only an incompetent idiot that should never be given a job with any decision making power, and certainly not have any control over the actions of other people would say such a thing. Threatening to negatively impact thousands of peoples plans and schedules because they can only terrorize and not gain cooperation of a scared 4 year old girl?

Not only is the TSA the despicable hand of tyranny, but they are the incompetent joker hand of tyranny.

Nothing new. Obviously nothing will be done about this as it's been going on for a long time. Why even bother reporting it? The sheep bleet and then go back to sleep

TSA folks need to go. These people are an obvious threat to the country. They are brown shirt goons. When Obama arms them they will need to be put down as they will literally start killing innocent civilians.

Israel has common sense security methods. That’s why they are efficient and their security works.

America has adopted zero-tolerance security. This is why 4 year old girls are considered a high terrorist threat and given a full-body search.

common sense beats zero tolerance any way you compare them.
