Catholic Bishops Call For Two Weeks of Action Against Obama

Roman Catholic leaders are calling for two weeks of public protests against President Barack Obama's policies as they intensify their argument that the administration is engaged in a war on religion.

The days between June 21 and July 4 have been set aside by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops which has sought to end the administration's contraception mandate, among other policies.

The protests against the Obama administration’s policies could be “the game-changer” in the presidential election, one leading lay churchman told Newsmax on Tuesday.

The protests, dubbed “A Fortnight for Freedom” will be an “unprecedented, aggressive attack” against policies that church leaders see as an assault on religious freedom, said Catholic Advocate chairman Deal Hudson.

Yes, I understand that, but when you’re holding a protest of Obama’s mandate (in an election year), you are in effect saying not to vote for him without coming right out and saying so. But we don’t currently have anyone left that is a strong Catholic to vote *for*, as Rick has suspended. So it would have been great if they came out with this when a strong Catholic was running, no? Then at least the protests would bear fruit. Of course, it’s true that the mandate could be pulled (because of the protests), but we’re still left with either Obama or Romney. Ugh!

There were catholics for and against Hitler, for instance.

The Nazi's came to power by a lopsided margin of protestant over Catholic. Should we have let Htiler take a bigger bite out of them for penance? Should protestants now support the alligator taking a bigger bite out of Catholics?

I think you have totally and ignorantly gotten the alligator lesson upside down.

Where were you prior to the election in November 2007?
Most people here saw this coming before Obama was elected.

I was just wishing that we would have had the strong support of the Church back then.

We will win this battle either by the Supreme Court or by the ballot box.
And go clean up those Catholic Universities, they are a disgrace.

Could it be that Divine Intervention [only] can help us now?

YES! It will if we pray and trust.

Sounds good to me. I’m not Catholic but I would like to participate. How do I find out what, where?

Roman Catholic leaders are calling for two weeks of public protests against President Barack Obama’s policies as they intensify their argument that the administration is engaged in a war on religion.

They better be very careful, protesting is now a Federal felony, if it’s done near a person under Secret Service protection-

Subject: New Law Signed in Secret by Obama

Looked this up on www.snopes.com and it is TRUE, last undated on 4/16/12!! Seems they are anticipating protest groups at the National convention and want to be able to arrest & imprison protestors!! If they take away our “free speech” rights, what’s to stop them from taking away ALL our rights? This administration is getting way out of hand!! Why don’t we all just move to some communist country and get it over with?!?!

Begin forwarded message:

Subject: New Law Signed in Secret by Obama

I think that everyone needs to know about this. Something else Obama signed in SECRET - Our freedoms are being destroyed day-by-day by this person they call our president. This person will be America’s end if we continue to keep him in office.

FW: OK…How much more erosion of our rights and freedoms will we allow? We better wake up quickly. This looks a little too much like Germany before WWII. Did you hear anything about this from any other network? It’s a travesty.

Subject: New Law......just signed March 2012

This is a new law signed by all congressmen except three.

New law

New law makes it illegal to protest in Obama’s presence. This means that, wherever Obama is at, you do not have a right to ask him anything you want to. His secret service can have you arrested, fined, and imprisoned for more than a YEAR if you ask him something he doesn’t like. Sound like he’s more like Hitler than Lincoln to you?

WATCH AND BE AMAZED AT HIS LATEST ATTEMPT TO STAGE A TAKE OVER OF AMERICA...

Guess you’ve probably heard about this, but sending it on anyway. It’s probably the scariest thing this guy has done yet.

Are you aware of this new law, signed by “Obama” in early March 2012?

May the Lord have mercy on us!!!!

You criticize the Church because some support the regime. You criticize the Church when Her Bishops organize against the regime.

You turn the alligator analogy upside down and logic on its head.

I don't take such critics or their criticism seriously.

Thank you for your post; may all Christians stand together in this effort.

If you know any Catholics in your area, I would ask them. Otherwise call the nearest Cathedral and ask. Good luck and Godspeed!

I strongly support the Bishops. I wish they had organized against the regime four years earlier.

Yes, only prayer for Divine Intervention can save us from this tyranny.
