Michelle Obama on Tuesday urged a group of girls to ignore "haters" and to instead focus on the positives in their lives.
"Put the negative things aside, because that’s always going to be there. There’s always going to be -- what do we call it, girls? There’s always going to be haters out there?" the first lady said to laughs at a Girls Inc. event in Omaha. "Don’t focus on that."

If you can’t stay away from the haters, the next best thing is to encourage them to run away from you on their own initiative.
